- AAngela TarkentonVIPWashington, D.C. Area •58 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOh my oh my! Wye Oak Tavern is beyond incredible. The setting is spectacular with the former church altar, statuary and organ pipes along with 30 foot high ceilings I’d guess? Josh, Cody and the bar staff craft incredible cocktails and create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. As for the food and service. Impeccable. Period. We had steak tartare, cheese ravioli, an 18 oz gorgeous ribeye with duck fat fries and brussels!…and pear bread pudding for dessert. Stephanie was great fun while never missing a beat during service and Steve and his wine suggestions were close to perfect. By the way their wine list is an incredible value of some stellar wines at good prices and they managed to curate the list without need of 40 pages. Thank you. Everything you need without a bunch of excess to search through. We will be back soon and grateful we live only an hour away. Oh and the Visitation Hotel is lovely and we enjoyed staying the night. Nice to have a great place in walkable Frederick!More infoWye Oak TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Frederick•4.5

- RRachelWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe only reservation we could get for V Day was at 4 pm. Turned out to be great. Not so busy, excellent service and moderate noise level. No VDay ambiance though as only balloons scattered about the restaurant. A rose for each lady would have been nice or fairy lights instead of balloons.More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - FrederickPrice: Moderate• American• Frederick•4.8

The service is consistently top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable. This place has set the standard for excellence, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.More infoManalu Italian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Frederick•4.9
