A hidden rooftop gem in Athens! I absolutely loved The Botany Roof Garden — easily one of the coziest rooftops I’ve been to, with the best view of the Acropolis. What made it extra special wasn’t just the breathtaking setting, but the warm and attentive service that made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — but what really stood out was the intimate atmosphere. It felt relaxed, personal, and inviting… the kind of place you want to stay for hours. To top it all off, they brought us a traditional Greek after-meal drink on the house — a lovely touch that made the whole experience feel even more authentic and thoughtful. Superb all around. Can’t wait to return.

The servers were excellent and the food/wine was equally fine. We especially enjoyed the pasta and lamb delicious. Definitely a superb destination to enjoy our initial dining experience in Athens.

Outstanding food and excellent atmosphere on this Christmas Eve. Shame they had technical issues which meant they could not find our reservation (despite having a confirmation email - they said it happens often and hence had spare tables - better phone them next time…) and we had to wait almost half an hour to pay because the card reader was not working. We nevertheless had a wonderful time and will be going back.
