We had a lovely table in the corner overlooking the bridge and river. The restaurant was not very busy so it was quiet which meant we were able to talk to our friends easily, not having seen them for some time. The waitresses were polite, pleasant and attentive, giving ample time for making our menu choices and checking to see if we required anything further during the meal. The haddock portions are extra-large! I ordered the Seared salmon tagliatelle which was extremely tasty and, as I don’t have a big appetite, much too large a portion for me so I was offered a take-away box which meant that I have repeated the experience all over again this evening!
