I hate to give out this secret, but Sunday night is wonderful here as it is without the usual packed restaurant and is therefore much quieter on Sunday. Had a great meal, per usual, with Austin providing knowledgable, attentive, but never overbearing service. Beverly greeted us and made us feel as if we were only amongst very good friends. Pork chop is the Best in Dallas. Ceviche top notch also. My favorite restaurant, ESPECIALLY so on Sundays!

We’ve been several times, and this was likely the most underwhelming. The service was great, but the food was just “ok” this time. The meatball texture was mushy. Maybe too bready? Also, lacking in voodoo sauce. I ordered the chicken piccata special and the chicken was rubbery. The pasta special was good. The scallops were good.

With its delicious food, and friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff , it's a wonderful neighborhood restaurant for almost any event. The energetic noise level detracts from normal volume table talk. This lively restaurant rises to a vibrant noise level naturally through multi-table conversation. I wish the owners might consider turning the music down to "a whisper" during busy dining hours.

We waited over an hour for our table. Your experience is ruined when you wait until 9:30 to eat. No sense of urgency with the hostess. People lingered at tables and nothing happened. We were out of town visitors and travel to Dallas frequently. Will probably not come back.

2nd time in a row we were seated an hour or more after our reservation, and the service was then woefully slow once we were seated. 30 minutes to take drink order and then 30 minutes after that to get drinks. Food was excellent and our server was cheerful. Still one of our favorite spots in Dallas but NHS service is off its game in a big way.

I love the food at this place, however the portion size was embarrassing. I paid almost $35 for shrimp linguine pasta and there was probably like 15 noodles total in the bowl. I completely understand the price because gulf shrimp are expensive, but the pasta portion could’ve been a lot better. The service was amazing, and the ambience is super cozy.

so so. loud. upon arrival, the hostess requested we finish our meal within 1 1/2 hours because she had other reservations to accommodate (despite that we were being seated with a reservation). The chicken piccata was lacking, at best (not a thin/scaloppini cut...). And the noise level was quite loud. I know that many people feel it's a great option... but I was non-plussed, at best.

Had a reservation- but table was “not available” for a good 45 mins into waiting. Ended up eating at the bar and had a hard time getting bartender to wait on us. Was told incorrect items available on menu, finally ordered and received the incorrect order (fish for chicken), the hostess jumped in on our conversation as we discussed this after basically ignoring us all evening. Food was sub par, no compensation for the menu mix up. Obvious this place is poorly managed. Won’t be back.

Great ambiance from the get-go. Server’s are top notch. Even the lady who goes around filling up water glasses is next-level on top of her game. Meatball appetizer is surprisingly good, and the pork chop is maybe the best I’ve ever had.
