Great place for lunch. The food is consistently good. The service is great. Location is cool.
Perfect as always. My family of 5 doesn’t agree on much but Nectar is hands down our favorite!
We have been wanting to try Nectar for awhile and finally got it done. We will now become frequent customers of Nectar since their food is fabulous; their service is excellent, Laura our Waitress helped us make some very good selections from the menu. Her recommendations of the short ribs was spot on, the meat melted in your mouth with excellent flavors. The Wok Lobster was delicious.
The Sashimi starter will have me going back for a greater sampling of their Sashimi selection.
They have great wines by the glass and if you need help finding a wine, go no further than John Romano, John is very knowledgeable about wine in general and expert on what Nectar has to offer from their extensive wine list.
It was a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend Nectar for any occasion!
Always a great place to eat. Great employees (friends) and never a bad meal. Thank you!!
We had an early dinner on Mother's Day and were very happy with everything. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was outstanding and all of the food was excellent. Four of us shared the Shrimp Tempura Roll and Lobster Sliders for appetizers and then shared the Wok Amish Chicken and Gulf Shrimp, Lobster Fried Rice and Moo Shu Pork. The Chocolate Bento for 2 was enough for all of us to satisfy our after dinner sweet tooth. My only negative was that I wished the dishes were larger.
The taste was good, but the sushi rice was too heavily squished for me.
The food was overpriced for the value and quality. I would not eat there again.
Food was delicious I had the seafood hotpot. My daughter tried the wild boar and Chinese sausage lo main and she loved it along with the crab sushi. Would definitely recommend!!
The bronzino was outstanding! The service was very pleasant. The noise level is high for my 80+ mother but otherwise okay for me. I always enjoy this place!
Walked in with one member of our party using a cane. Followed the hostess, who basically ran up the stairs to seat us. No one asked, “Is upstairs ok?” We did make it up, but first asked for an elevator. But there is none. Upstairs is traditionally much quieter, which is good. Food was very good but the meal was billed as “Mother’s Day Brunch”. There was not one real brunch item on the menu. This was a disappointment. Service was as excellent as expected. We have been here many times and Nectar’s food quality/service are consistently great. A more diverse, holiday menu would have been a treat!
Below mediocre food.
Very inconsistent experiences. Sometimes good sometimes not good. Soft shelled crab was chopped up and dry.
Local gem that transports you into a relaxing scene where the staff make you feel comfortable and valued. The food is beyond fantastic and expertly presented. The drink menu is extensive, yet even the simple glass of Prosecco is superb.
We had a server who forgot several of our items, one plate of food was dropped at the table and then after the meal we were welcomed by the server to the restaurant and asked if we would like still or sparkling (forgetting that he had been waiting on us for the last hour? Bizarre experience. Probably unusual for this place but it was not up to standard on this occasion.
I’ve been dining at Nectar since it opened. Sad to say, it has tumbled down hill over the years. My husband and I took a couple from out of town here on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and drink orders were taken. So far so good. We ordered apps and entrees, which were underwhelming. The soft shell crab special was greasy, overcooked and sitting in a goopy sweet sauce. My ahi tuna app was just OK, nothing special. Our guests ordered salmon and scallops; no one made a comment about the meals, good or bad. Lobster fried rice was tasty, but came in a small bowl, too small for the price. Our guests ordered additional drinks, which took so long to be delivered, that our guest made a comment.
The restaurant was extremely loud from 7:15 to 9:00, when we left. If you have any hearing problem at all, don’t go here for dinner. It’s time for Nectar to up it’s game, change up the menu and in general, improve the service. I miss the Nectar when it was new.
Great drinks, delicious food and amazing service.
Excellent food, service and ambience.
Haven’t been to Nectar in a while and remember the service being stellar before. We had reservations for 6pm and the restaurant was fairly empty but filled up completely by the time we left at 8:30pm. On the positive no one was rushing us considering how busy they were. Our server did not smile even once, seemed like he was angry at someone or something. Water refills took forever. Never once did someone come to check in and see if everything was okay. For the main course We got the scallop risotto from the specials and it was very mushy, not what I would expect from Nectar or for the price. The veg pad Thai was also very average. Starters we ordered calamari and edamame.. the calamari was not seasoned at all. The sushi rolls were also very average. Overall the experience was very average and underwhelming.
Nectar offers an airy two story space with a tasteful Vietnamese/Indian ambiance that slightly contradicts the loud echoing sounds of the patrons whose voices bounce easily off of the surrounding hard surfaces. The food is good, but its presentation is better, making the sometimes typical asian food much tastier. There were exceptional exceptions however, particularly the dumplings.
Even on a holiday night, the whole team brought their A game!
My go-to restaurant. Food and services are always pretty good
Unfortunately we waited 13 minutes for a server to approach our table. We checked in with the hostess and she cleared things up and gave us the 1st round of drinks on the house. Nectar is lovely it was just a bad beginning to our evening.
The food was great but our table set up was horrible— ruined our dining experience.
Previous visits were great, but had definitely changed. While the service was excellent as usual, the food was not nearly as good...
Berry Martini was flat like frozen fruit- I added some lemon to give it a lift, but still not much taste. The $16 salmon and peekytoe roll was small, near flavorless and had no presentation, very disappointing. $17 Mango roll was ok, but little flavor as well. Pork buns were heavy, and while the pork belly itself was delicious, there was little other flavor inside and just slabs of iceberg lettuce - of all the greens the chef had to choose from? No other sauce? Felt like we could have gone to any inexpensive sushi place and gotten more flavor. Eggplant had good flavor but the greens were whole and tough to chew (about 6” long). Best thing on the table was the side of vegetables!
Hopefully they turn it back around, it’s a beautiful place.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere.
Look forward in returning again soon.
Our 4 time to Nectar in the past 5 months and our 1st time we were disappointed. It was very chilly for all who went to dinner my husband included. They were out of their amazing Brussels sprouts which we always order 2-3 orders of. Waiter forgot a side order we ordered. Sad because we have been loving nectar but this time it wasn’t as good as our previous visits.
service was very good. edamame dumplings were outstanding! crispy calamari and edamame were delicious. steamed pork buns, eh ok. would not get again.
roasted striped bass was outstanding, cooked to perfection
moo shu pork and shrimp red curry also very good. nectar lo main and shrimp pad thai also very good!!
atmosphere very relaxing.
little pricey. valet system is a requirement & annoying when u can easily park yourself in the back. if u want to valet, then they can just leave the front spots open for that but the whole back is easily accessible to park yourself.
all in all a very good dining experience, except for the parking.
Excellent service & food ...took my mom & cousin to lunch everyone was happy
Nectar is always an excellent dining experience. Unfortunately, my wife and I hadn't been to Nectar recently but we came back with a group of 8 on a Sunday night, and I remember how great the food is, with wonderful service and a lovely dining facility. From the various appetizers and entress to the few desserts that were chosen, everything was delicious with not a morsel remaining. Thank you for serving us a great meal, and as always, I highly recommend dining at Nectar.
Great food and staff! Sushi is super fresh. Would highly recommend the Wok Seared Tenderloin, Lobster Pad Thai and anything sushi!
This place gets my “Rockstar” status!!
Excellent! Great menu, fantastic service, drinks were phenomenal and I can't emphasize enough on how perfectly the food was prepared... never overdone or underdone... just right!
Our visit to Nectar was to celebrate our anniversary. We had a nice spot in the corner which was perfect for us. The food was absolutely amazing. The bento box for 2 is my favorite appetizer ever. My husband got the King Kong Roll which included filet mignon and he loved it. I got the filet mignon dinner which was perfectly cooked and so tasty. We don't live close to Nectar so this isn't an every day spot for us, but it is a treat. The service was also wonderful. Our server received a hug when the table next to us sat down, so you know he is well liked but his customers. Overall, if we lived closer, I would want to go at least once a week.
Always a treat!! Excellent
Our waiter, Bob, was Excellence!!! We were one of the last people at the restaurant because we got there later in the evening and Bob did not rush us. Great experience! Thank you!
Love Nectar. Always. My favorite place for a great meal and libations.
Fabulous food, wonderful service
First time bringing our son he loved it!
