The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. The pub was very noisy as there was. Stag party in the bar but the restaurant was a quiet haven. There is a new summer menu and we chose chicken with Rosti potato mushroom sauce and vegetables and a bacon chop with triple cooked chips eggs pineapple and peas . Both were delicious and portions were generous. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. As it was a Saturday there was a singer in the bar but it was in the background and did not spoil our meal at all.
