The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. We have eaten here in the bar area and the restaurant but even though the food has always been excellent the service let it down. However on visiting with a friend the other evening, I purposely booked the restaurant and I have to say that the young man that served us was so polite, patient and pleasant along with a superb meal. My friend hadn't been there before and she said she will definitely be returning with her husband. There is an excellent choice on the menu along with a good variety for vegetarian. Very good value for your money and the portions are very generous. The only one let down was I asked for a latte with oat or soya milk and they don't do that, but it was no hardship as I just had a black tea. Well worth a visit.

Good service, offerings, menu & the food was very very tasty. We loved it! The GF basque cheesecake was delicious. Highly recommended.

We love this restaurant. Food is always amazing. Staff are attentive and service is quick. Highly recommend. As pescatarians we would love some fish/seafood pizza options!
