The atmosphere and service were excellent. The scallops were a little small and bland. The steak was good but slightly over prepared. The markup on the wine is substantial. I'd give it a solid 7/10.

We had a lovely entrees of short ribs and Cornish hen. We found the onion soup tasty with sweet onions and mushrooms but with a very thin broth which was disappointing. The escargot came in an unusual presentation, with each snail in its own pastry tartlet and was quite tasty. The crème brule would have been fantastic without the pumpkin infusion. The red velvet cheesecake was delicious. We will definitely return to sample the next seasonal menu.

Always a great experience. Food is expertly prepared, specials are creative and abundant even during slow winter periods. Jordan is a professional and classic style waiter that provides impeccable service and plenty of compliments. Jordan always adds a dash of humor to round out a truly wonderful dining experience.

This was just one of our many visits to Il Posto, and they have never disappointed. We were slightly surprised how busy they were on this night in December, but that's good for them. They stay open all year, and we try to support them for it. Our entrees were outstanding and the service is amazing. from our waitress to the server who brings bread and water. This is simply an outstanding restaurant. Don't miss it it -- in summer or winter.
