We live in Torreon 6 months of the year so we frequently eat at the grille. This time, like many others, the food and service were good and we really enjoyed sitting out on the patio. The meals are always plentiful and this time I enjoyed a tasty cheeseburger with onion rings. It’s a $20+ meal, so with a drink it’s about $33 plus tax and tip. My wife had scallops and was happy with them. It’s not perfect seafood but is still good. Service is friendly and mostly handled by younger locals. Inside the grille, the air conditioning is pretty chilly so it’s best to bring a light jacket or sweater.

Cattlemen’s is a very good restaurant. My husband’s rare prime rib was perfectly cooked and he was very happy. Appetizers were excellent. The deep fried green beans are wonderful. I also had the burnt ends prime rib bites and the loaded baked potato which were both very good. Service was incredible. Our server (Matthew) was just amazing. He had a great handle on everything available, he was fast, accurate and had the nicest demeanor of any wait staff I have ever seen. This is one energetic and friendly guy! The restaurant has been newly remodeled and is clean and very comfortable. Reservations worked very well for us because they were extremely busy.
