"16 years ago I took my newly proposed to fiancee (that night) to dinner at Tucci's. We had a fabulous time. Occasionally we have stopped in but not for several years. Last Friday upon arriving Papa Tucci himself seated us, took my coat and got us all set. My wife and I took our 10 year old daughter and friend out. Great food, great ambiance, Papa Tucci serenaded (in Italian) another table for their anniversary. The calamari was as we remembered it and the food and flavors were excellent. "Gateway Grill has been our neighborhood "go to" for great food and casual atmosphere for the last 3 years. It's changed ownership during that period, but hasn't dampened our enjoyment a bit! Started with the artichoke dip with wonderful homemade croutons, I had baby back ribs, he had fish and chips. Both were well worth 'stuffing' ourselves and the following food coma. Spoiler alert, the portions are VERY large (better than half my ribs came home). With both tables and booths, we love the booths as they're very tall backed and offer some privacy. The restaurant doesn't actually get all that noisy, but for those with hearing issues, to be able to block out some background noise, the evening is much less work and wonderfully more pleasant."See more

"The only reason there’s noise is because in Sunday’s for brunch there’s a live singer and it’s amazing. It’s the best atmosphere and the yummiest food. I have the hardest time choosing what to order because I know what I LOVE but I also want to try new things, because EVERYTHING is good.
