Roomy, quaint, fireplaces lit. Excellent service, very good meal, everything was fresh and hot out of the kitchen. Overall, it was a very pleasant meal experience.

This place never disappoints. What a great wine and cocktail menu. We started with a bottle of Sauvignon blanc followed by their famous crab cakes which were superb. We ended the meal with slices of key lime pie. The restaurant was busy...thank goodness we had a reservation but the waitstaff never hurries the customers which is delightful. If you’re in DC, don’t miss eating here.

As always this is an experience every visit. Great cocktails, great food and wine, and MOST OF ALL great service. Alison, our frequent server, was fabulous as always and we love the ambiance!

Island Hideaway is a must try and return in Solomon's MD. My wife's favorite place. The food is always great, service is quick and professional, and the view during the day is gorgeous.
