The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. Had an amazing lunch at The Plough in downtown Lancaster. The fish sandwich was perfectly crispy, flaky, and full of flavor — one of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is stylish but relaxed, and the service was top-notch. A great spot for a fresh, elevated lunch.

10/10 First time and won’t be my last. The service was incredible kayla was on top of everything through throughout the entire meal. Coming from years of experience in restaurants I appreciated that whenever we needed something, she was right there. Chef Kile’s attention to detail and complementary ingredients, made dining experience unforgettable. I’m excited to continue to return and see what Chef comes up with next!
