- CChrisVIPHawaii •37 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe made a reservation at the bar but when we arrived the seats available were next to the front door. Given that it was 31 degrees out those seats would have been uncomfortable with the door constantly being opened and closed. We asked if we could move and she kindly moved us upstairs. Something very much appreciated. The waiter was personable and provided great service. The food was excellent and not overpriced. All in all a nice night out.More infoRed Ash ItaliaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.9

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a gathering with a group of 20, and the restaurant did not disappoint. From the start, the staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our group’s needs were met promptly without feeling rushed. A special shout-out to our servers, Kaitlyn and Kathryn, who went above and beyond to make sure our experience was seamless. They were friendly, efficient, and made us feel right at home. The service was efficient, with our food arriving at the table in a timely manner, which is no small feat for a party of our size. Drinks were continually topped off, and every detail seemed to be handled with care. The atmosphere at Dos Olivos further enhances the experience. It strikes a balance between being lively yet comfortable, making it an ideal location for both large parties and more intimate gatherings like a date night. Whether you’re dining with a group or enjoying a quiet evening with a special someone, Dos Olivos delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for both large celebrations and cozy dinners alike!More infoDos Olivos Market- BudaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Buda•4.7

The ambiance is fun and upbeat, though be prepared for some background noise—the music can be a bit loud, making it challenging to carry on conversation, especially when the train passes by (though it goes by quickly). We started with the salsa sampler, which included thick, crunchy tortilla chips. The standout here was definitely the tomatillo salsa, which had a perfect balance of tang and heat. The Elote appetizer was another highlight, with two perfectly grilled pieces of corn that packed a punch of flavor. For our main dishes, we tried the California burrito and surf and turf quesadillas. My husband loved the California burrito—so much so that it was impossible for him to finish this massive, flavorful meal. As for my quesadillas, the asada was perfectly seasoned, offering a deliciously rich flavor in every bite. Service at Ma’Coco was excellent. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance in ensuring we had everything we needed, but also giving us space to enjoy our meal. Though the music and occasional train noise were a little distracting, the food and service more than made up for it. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of their delicious offerings!More infoMa'Coco - BudaPrice: Moderate• Mexican / Southwestern• Buda•4.7
- MMikiAustin •6 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 11, 2025Food was excellent and it's a beautiful facility, but they need to add more soft surfaces (artful canvas wall panels or fabric draped across the ceiling) to absorb sound waves. Our server was slow to follow up on our tables needs, but, otherwise we had a great evening. I did note on my reservation that it was a birthday celebration, but nothing was acknowledged by anyone on staff. We didn't expect anything special, but acknowledgement would have been nice for the birthday girl.More infoZ'Tejas - KylePrice: Expensive• Tex-Mex• Texas Hill Country•3.8
