- JJodeeMontana •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThank you for our anniversary dinner. We enjoyed everything about our experience. Our recommendations would be popovers, prime rib, and the bread pudding. Which was especially flavorful since it was on the house.More infoMercantile Steak & KM BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Kalispell•4.5
- DDavidOttawa •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHerb and Omni is a modern jewel box: slim walnut lines, pale fabrics, a few artful blooms. Chairs are soft enough that you won’t mind the bill arriving late. The staff run the room with calm precision. Water never dips, plates appear in step with conversation, and every question—about sourcing, preparation —gets an unscripted answer. Suggestions feel personal, and the pacing borders on clairvoyant. The wine list is capable but cautious—tidy pinots, polite chardonnays, a safe Bordeaux. A few skin-contact whites or funky oranges would add excitement, yet we were able to find something to suit our tastes with ease. Food opens strong. Carrots in crunchy dukkah balance sweetness and spice; tempura enoki mushrooms crackle, then vanish. A caviar interlude—sleek roe on cool crème fraîche—adds a flash of luxury without grandstanding. Two entrées carry the night: Pan-roasted duck breast sits rosy and crisp amid cherry mole, maque choux, confit maitake, pickled ramps, and foie-gras jus. Each garnish lifts the duck without drowning it. Crispy leek dumplings float in green-curry broth with bok choy, turnip, and black-garlic XO; tofu cream calms the heat while shiso brightens every bite. Cocktails keep pace. The Punchline—clarified strawberry-banana tequila, banana liqueur, lime—plays bright fruit against a dry finish. Secondhand marries tequila, passion-fruit shrub, yuzu-vanilla cordial, orange-blossom water, and a trickle of IPA for a floral, lightly bitter refresher. Both arrive cold and confident. We came for my partner’s birthday, and the staff slipped a handwritten card signed by the entire team —a gesture she’ll remember far longer than any foie-gras jus. We left full, impressed, and, above all, cared for. The kitchen sends out beautiful plates; the front-of-house turns them into an occasion... proof that hospitality still matters most.More infoHerb & OmniPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Whitefish•4.8

- JJenniferVIPNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on May 24, 2025The ambiance was lovely. Food was well presented and start to finish, the best meal we’ve had in Whitefish/ Kalispell. The wedge salad was a meal in itself; oversized and easily feeds 2 people. The Himalayan salt ribeye was delicious; didn’t even require additional sauce. The halibut special with shrimp risotto was large portion and seared perfectly. The finale was warm Jameson bread pudding and we substituted vanilla for huckleberry ice cream - heaven. Our server Colin was wonderful. He was the perfect balance of attentiveness while not hovering. He was professional and friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and went the extra mile with suggestions for hikes and other local activities.More infoFreeStonePrice: Expensive• American• Kalispell•4.5
