We grill over hardwood, not gas, the way that it was a long time ago. It may not be the fastest or least expensive way to do business, but for us, it is the only way. Entrees were delivered quickly Lasagna, chicken parmigiana and gnocchi with a side meatball were wonderful. Portions were large enough to take home for dinner. Prices were very reasonable as well Service was excellent. Hot bread and tapenade to start eliminated the need for a starter. Always a pleasant place to dine and not wallet breaking either

As usual, our dinner was excellent! Four of us were celebrating my wife's retirement. We dine at D'Agnese's frequently, and are never disappointed. Our server, Toni, was excellent -- knowledgeable, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. We always begin with the spicy calamari appetizer. It's the best anywhere! My wife loves the eggplant Parmesan, and it was great. The portion is so large she cannot finish. I take it home for lunch the next day. I had the shrimp carbonara. It also was excellent, lots of tender, large shrimp in a velvety cream sauce. Our other diner had the lasagna, and was pleased. My brother-in-law, an amateur chef, ordered the Zuppa di Pesce. He's had this all over the country and declared this the best, especially at the price! We are fortunate to have this gem of a restaurant so close to us!
