There were three of us had a lunch in the gardens to celebrate my fathers 82nd birthday. The ambiance was lovely, the sun was out and it was nice and peaceful/tranquil during our time there. The Chicken Liver Parfait was exquisite with a soft texture and full of flavour. There was one piece of of toast which may have been sufficient for some, but a second slice would have been nice. The Seabream was cooked to perfection, and had a delicate flavour. Even though the Tomato and Potatoes were nice, I might have preferred New Potatoes and some kind of vegetable, but that's a personal preference of mine. The Choux Bun filled with Lemon & Mint Sorbet, then a layer of Orange Cream was a burst of freshness and was devine. All in all 'Hats Off' to the kitchen team! A pleasant bottle of Italian White Wine, and this was the making of a lovely birthday lunch. The service was excellent, and they should also be commended. Definitely worth a visit, and we will be back for sure.

Always a lovely place to eat. We find it does get a bit busy over the weekend brunch period, so think booking a table is sensible. Table was ready when we arrived. Food and drinks were brought to our table promptly and we're delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff
