There was an incident involving a table of 3 very rude customers and they gave the staff a very hard time and refused to pay their bill but it was delt with efficiently and without any nastiness by the manager and a member of the serving staff ! The front-of-house staff were incredibly helpful and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel genuinely welcome. What truly impressed us was the kitchen's brilliant handling of food intolerances. They went above and beyond, offering multiple adapted options directly from the menu, which is a rare and welcome sight. Each dish was not only safe for us but also delicious. There was two of us and the stable was a small 2 seater bench table agains a dividing wall. We were right on the main walk way coming into the pub. We asked if we could move as we saw a few tables that were empty. They said they couldn’t as they were booked. We ordered the meat shared plus 3 bar snacks and it was impossible to fit it on our table. We had to stack things on a ledge along with our drinks. Spoilt it for us as the food was lovely and really good value for money but the table was not ideal at all.
