We've been several times but this was one of our favorites. Celebrated a birthday and it was just right -- low key, delicious and beautiful food, easy with two young kids. Kudos to the chef and pastry chef, the rhubarb almond galette was delicious!

Perfect night! The service and food were excellent and the room was beautiful.

My husband and I look at a meal at the Black Bass Hotel as a treat. The food and service are exceptional and a big draw of the restaurant is the view. I made a reservation on line. When we arrived we were given a table for 2 where my seat faced a wall with no view at all. I asked the hostess, who on a Saturday night was dressed as if she was going to the gym, told me she assigned tables passed on how far out a reservation was made. Being as our reservation was made that day I get to face a wall. Halfway through our meal a table that was set for 4 was cleared so that 1 person could dine and have a view. My guess is that that 1 person walked in and got the table for 4 that was free. Left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me think of other places to dine that has a view I get to enjoy. One other thing, the wall I faced had a speaker with Jim Croce telling me to beware Leroy Brown, I’m thinking I should beware the hostess going to the gym

Great atmosphere and waitstaff. Parking was easy .
