Our server Johnathan was great. Food was good but expensive. Wasn’t impressed by host & hostess. I called to make a reservation & was told by Savannah, we didn’t need one. Once we arrived an Asian male asked us if we had a reservation. I told him we were told we didn’t need one. He gave us a bit of attitude until I told him we actually had one. I made one online just in case. The place was mostly empty, so I don’t understand why it was even an issue. He then proceeded to put us in a bad location. We didn’t complain since we were in the back corner & had a bit of privacy until he sat another couple right next to us. Why? The restaurant is mostly empty. Give customers some room. A bad host can ruin the entire dining experience. Spend some money hiring good people & then train them properly.

Really enjoyed our experience celebrating a birthday at Winewood. Nico was a polite server who helped with recommendations and accommodations as well. Lobster ravioli and the chicken cordon bleu were delicious. Great wine selection and the prices are approachable.
