Excellent fresh seafood. Grilled to perfection, arrived hot (after full de-boning) Waiters very very friendly and always attentive with topping up the wine just in the right moment Always like to come back here when in NYC

We had to book at 2:30 in the afternoon because the evening had group events, unfortunately. The only downfall was the limited appetizer Lunch menu. But the food and service we had was wonderful. You MUST try the dressed oysters. Delicious! See you on the 26th.

This was our first time to restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful from the start. There is a large ‘outdoor’ bar area that would be fun in warmer weather (it’s in a thru alcove between streets so warm enough in December for adventurous folks to sit outside even now). The inside was packed on all the multiple levels, so it is noisy. We had the lobster bisque and onion soup as appetizers, both were excellent). For dinner the chateaubriand for two. It was cooked perfectly as were the vegetables and mashed potatoes. We tried the black sesame seed crème brûlée, but it was just too much sesame. The usual crème brûlée was very tasty. The service, even as packed as they were on this holiday season Wednesday, was fast. The food arrived hot and quickly after ordering. It was also cleared quickly, and there was no pressure to get us out as we enjoyed our decaf and dessert. We plan on returning during our next trip into the city.

Really happening and busy for a Monday, good people watching, food was amazing, staff was great. We ate at the bar and started with roasted garlic babka! (Don’t miss that) then had branzino. Amazing. Will be back.

Don't order Chicken Paillard. It was very dry. Everything else was great. We ordered crab cake, lobster salad, fries and steak, branzino, and scallops. Chocolate mousse and ice cream cake are so good. Service was good but did require a lot of weaving hands to get attention during the peak hour. Overall a very good experience.
