We are “locals” and this is our favorite restaurant in the city. Food, service, ambiance are always consistently top notch!

We booked dinner for our wedding anniversary without expecting anything more than a typical night out — but we were so pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and thoughtfully acknowledged for our special occasion. Our table was beautifully set with a lovely anniversary message, which made us feel incredibly welcomed. Throughout the evening, the service was attentive, thoughtful, and generous in every way. Every detail contributed is truly appreciated. Thank you for turning our evening into something special.

This simply was an outstanding dining experience. Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive, the food was amazing, and the venue was comfortable stylish.

Food was very good as well as the service. I’d suggest they change the pictures on the site though bc the atmosphere is much more casual.

We enjoyed our dining experience with the Historic Table (updated name for the Historic Supper Club). You have a little time before dinner is served to explore the exhibits of the SC Historical Society in the Fireproof building. Dinner is served at a long dining room table in a library type room with lovely Spode China. You will enjoy learning about various foods used for the highlighted period in Charleston history; the recipes used for the meal preparation are slightly updated for modern tastes. The proprietor, Mike, will explain details while the food is served family style. Everything was very tasty and abundant. A glass of Madeira wine is served, but otherwise it is byob (glassware provided) . It is an educational and enjoyable evening!
