Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz.     Overall fantastic meal. The steak tartare appetizer was chefs kiss. The steak choices are amazing. I urge everyone to get 3 oz of the A5 Waygu. It's the best meat you will ever have. Top 5 dinner for me. 👏

    I usually order the delicious crab quiche and did so again. It comes with greens and is just the perfect amount of food for me. My beverage was a cider. My husband had pork tenderloin and was very happy with his choice. He chose a hoppy IPA for his beverage. We splurged on calories and split a yummy dessert. The service was excellent even though Gertrude’s was very crowded.

    We always enjoy being at this restaurant. However, the noise level is too high (perhaps do not have music) and it is hard to have a conversion when there are more than 4 people. This was particularly the case for outdoor seating. We are grateful that they were able to accommodate our group to an indoor seating.
