Pammy’s is a New American restaurant inspired by the feel of an Italian neighborhood trattoria. Perched between Cambridge’s Central and Harvard Squares, Pammy’s is a cozy yet sophisticated neighborhood destination. For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis (who live right up the street), Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. They’ve brought together their love of great food, easy hospitality and chic vibes to create a lively space that is welcoming to all looking for a memorable meal. With dishes that lean heavily on Italian flavors but are not restricted by any rules of the cuisine, the food is unpretentious and delicious. A fireplace wrapped in white ceramic, an oversized salvaged communal table designed for side-by-side dining and rich leather banquets are just some of the design elements that make up Pammy’s charm. We're currently serving a Prix Fixe menu for all reservations. Come ready to eat. The food is a feast for your eyes as well as your tastebuds. Meals can begin light and flavorful (like the red crab - I had mine without the caviar extra), but many choices are also rich and inspiring- like the lasagne bianca which was a 12-layer vegetarian delight truly enhanced by the crunch of the side lettuce (with salt and parm- yum). Course 3 was the branzino also very rich and delightful. Finished with the champagne mango Sobretto. Loved it all. Pammy's has become a tradition when my foodie father (now 87) comes to town.

We had been to Harvest in over a decade and decided it was time to go back. To be clear, everything was wonderful - EXCEPT where we were seated. The restaurant was not busy and we could have been seated in the main room- instead, they sat us next to one meeting room with 2 large parties and then us- a 2 top - husband / wife date night . It was SO loud we could not even talk to each other! Service was amazing and the food was delicious.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, wide variety, and good (sometimes great) food are all the reasons we continue to return to Tryst. Even unassuming choices, like the burger, are always delicious. The grilled cheese with truffled mushroom pate ("Bikini Sandwich") is a brilliant take on a classic. The salads are always fresh and interesting. The mixologists know what they are doing, and the wait staff is always cheerful, friendly, and helpful.

It was a truly wonderful experience and great alternative to hyper expensive afternoon tea options without stripping any of the niceties.
