In the 15 years we have lived here this was the best meal and service ever. Thank you to the knowledgeable host, pleasant and skilled bar tender, attentive wait staff, and excellent food. A breath of fresh air! We do not give compliments easily. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

This was our first dining experience in Wausau. Van Acre's was recommended by the staff at Courtyard. It was a great recommendation. We arrived a few minutes early, so we waited in the lobby. When our table was ready, they seated us at a table for two with a busy walkway beside us. It was also noisier than we desired. We asked to be moved and the manager checked to see if a booth would become available. We waited just a few minutes and had a great experience. Our waitress, who was engaged, was outstanding. She was pleasant and offered great recommendations. She was attentive, but not hovering. Everyone made this dining experience wonderful. We both had the tomahawk pork chop which was very good and highly recommended.

My three girlfriends and I come to PJ's twice a year to catch up and reconnect. We love the food and the staff. It's always a great time!

We met for Father's Day. Had a good time, food was great and place was clean. I would go again and plan to.
