Another wonderful evening at Sugarbacon - this time celebrating our wedding anniversary - The waiter, Brett Burton, was again excellent and attentive to our table. He is courteous and well informed and a great server. Our food was perfect - I had the steak salad this time and the steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had the shrimp linguine and such a generous serving of both entrees - Plenty left over to take home. This time our appetizer was the crab croquettes and there was also a generous serving of this - more then enough for two people - Happy hour there is always a happy time! - So be sure to stop by soon -

We’ve been here twice and found it depends on the visit. The restaurant was busier this time - about 1/3 full and getting busier. We had 8 people, (4 pm Tuesday), (3 people at noon the first time), so the second time we actually went in a couple days before to check with the person in charge of seating and he said he would have a place ready and wrote our details down. We got there and they were not ready for us at all. We waited for a setup, and he then put us together in a corner against a wall and counter on 2 sides, though 2/3 the restaurant was empty. We couldn’t get out, they couldn’t get around, and they were not expecting us it seemed. The place was too noisy to hear except for the person right next to us. The food was seasoned really well, but the steak for the fajitas was dry. The tacos on our first visit were outstanding. It is very new still, and it seems they are working out some things.
