We are returning customers- whenever we are in the area we make a point of returning to The Devonshire Arms - we dined both nights of our weekend away here as our previous experiences had been so good. Delighted to report that our most recent experience was equally as good - Lovely food at reasonable prices in a lovely traditional setting- we will definitely return when next in the area. But for as good as the food and ambience are without doubt the most valuable asset of this establishment are its friendly helpful and efficient staff they are without exception fantastic- thank you all for making both of our evenings so enjoyable.

Wonderful restaurant for special occasions. Very attentive staff and management. Food was beautifully presented. Very nice time had by all.

WE enjoyed an excellent lunch sitting in the Garden Room. The welcome and service were both very good as was the food, of course!

We love this place. The food is always well balanced and thought though. Don’t skip the starters, these are light and flavoursome and perfect to the meal.
