The food, ambiance and service are wonderful. Loved the sublime true cod dish, the crab risotto dish, and the calamari with fries dish where the fries are probably the best on the planet! Only came 2 nights but look forward to trying others!

Been dinning here for years birthdays Anniversary first time back since Covid have To say food was not very good dinner salad was Wilted got the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes the potatoes were not warm and the steak was under cooked hope this was just a one occasion hate to see the quality go down hill

Lovely location, nice ambiance, very small staff. The shrimp was wonderful, but the French fries were previously frozen you can get anywhere. That was a real let down.

We had 3 different dishes - cod with rissoto, calamari with fries, and jumbo shrimp pasta. All we’re delicious! We also had salads - 2 house and a Caesar. The Caesar was particularly tasty. Drinks were well-made, and wine was good and fairly priced. We were very pleased with the experience!! Highly recommend!

Beautiful location in old house on main street of lovely Manzanita. The True Cod and the Risotto were prepared with care and were delicious. As with most restaurants in these post pandemic times, they were quite understaffed with one very nice wait person covering many obligations. We would love to return here when they are fully staffed.

The Broccoli soup was good but too salty. My partner liked her crab risotto. My True Cod was pretty tasteless and overwhelmed by the stronger taste of the bed of cheesy rice it was on. The Chablis was very good.

This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The owner chef was wonderful, he served us our Oysters and spoke with us a bit. They were so yummy! Our waitress was so great, fantastic service, funny and happy! The chocolate cake for dessert OMG! the restaurant was beautiful and cozy!I would recommend this place over and over.

We had a wonder meal, great service and my lavender lemon drop was wonderful. We enjoyed port and a chocolate moose cake for dessert. I would make reservations again when we are back in town!

Absolutely amazing. The bistro had good ambience - it was warm and inviting and the service was fantastic. The music was a little loud but we liked their playlist a lot. We got the house salad & caesar salad. The apricot vinaigrette was delicious. I ordered the dungeness crab risotto dish and my spouse ordered the cod with the same risotto. Our entrees were so flavorful. We literally scraped every last bit off the plates. Toasted coconut cheesecake with caramel sauce was also delicious. Will be back anytime we visit Cannon Beach!

The Shrimp Bisque had enough other stuff and spice to it, that the shrimp could barely be tasted. The True Cod main dish was excellent with a lot of cod. I would have preferred a few more asperagus (we were the last seating so they may have been short). We had to wait about 15 minutes fom our reservation time because one couple lingered - the place has limited seating - but we sat at the bar and ordered drinks so it was not a problem to us. Just be aware that small places don't have the resources of larger places and you may have to wait a few minutes. We have been here several times and been very pleased and will come again. At the meal price point, we tend to come here for more special occasions.

What a quaint, cozy place to have dinner. Reservations are a must as space is limited, but we didn't have a problem getting one two days in advance. The food was outstanding and we felt the prices were reasonable especially compared to any restaurant in Cannon Beach. We had the Roasted Garlic and Whipped Feta, Coconut Prawns, Caesar Salad, Crab Risotto, and the True Cod with Risotto. We all enjoyed what we had, but I must say the True Cod was so flaky, melt in your mouth and combined with the lemon buerre blanc sauce it was just heavenly. The only other place I've had cod this good was in Iceland, so I'd say they have a winner. This is not your typical tough flavorless cod served in fish and chips. When in Manzanita, we are definitely going back to this hidden gem.

Ordered rissoto with crab. While the risotto tasted good, the problem was I couldn’t find the crab!! I think they should put a sizeable portion of crab on for $30. At lesst be able to see some pieces. I couldn’t find any pieces of crab at all. I will still go back to this restaurant but will order something else. Waiter was good.

This place is great! It is a limited menu but I highly recommend the True Cod with lemon risotto & asparagus. It is lite & delicious & melts in your mouth! Last night I ordered a caesar and shared some of my husband's True Cod. While the service was very good, they did seem disappointed that I did not also order an entree. It's a very cute converted house for indoor dining and there is also a covered tent right outside. Nice, quiet romantic ambience.
