Nazara - Cary
This was our second trip to Cary from Pinehurst 1.25 hours. Food and service were outstanding each time. Highly recommend.
Great Indian restaurant, our favorite in the area. A bit more expensive than the average but more than worth it for the quality.
Good Indian food and nice decor and atmosphere. Traditional menu and well prepared. Not sure slightly elevated prices make this choice better than some others, but we will probably be back.
Outstanding meal and service! Love Nazara!!
My wife and I used to love Nazaras. We went often for the lunch buffet during the week and many times we took friends there on Sundays. A few months ago we visited with 6 people and were very disappointed. We even apologized to our friends as this was their first visit. The selection at the time was poor by comparison and the naan was dried out and tasteless. Well, we wrote it off as a one time fluke. Sadly, we ate there this past Sunday, July 21, 2019 and were even more disappointed. While I thought they had the best naan in town, this is the second time it was marginal at best. All the meat dishes I believe were chicken. No beef, no lamb, no goat. The selections were poor and it just seemed to us as though they either have a different chef or they are trying to cut costs. Either way, the fact that we had a poor experience two times in a row does not speak well for Nazara. I doubt we will go there again.
Service, atmosphere, and food were good. My only complaint was that the Rogan Josh wasnt nearly as spicy as I as expecting.
What a surprise. Service and food were simply excellent. We took each recommendation given and were not disappointed.
The buffet is great and has so many options!!
Been here on several times over the last year and enjoyed spectacularly good and service. This visit the service was good, however the food was disappointing. New Chef? New Owner?
It's always a pleasure dining here! We enjoyed the entire experience once again.
Buffet food was mediocre and cold. No one explained there was a menu option. Seems like the regulars were ordering off the menu. Perhaps that is better.
The food and service was wonderful! Wish they had a separate gluten free menu but server was very helpful in helping us decide.
Wonderful Indian food and solid, friendly service
Nazara impressed on all levels. Good & service were fantastic. Will definitely return!
always a wonderful experience! Creative dishes, beautiful bar area, outstanding wine list, perfect service. We go back over and over.
My favorite Indian restaurant. Nice ambiance- very clean, staff is warm and friendly. Service could be quicker. Love the food
Indian food was exceptional - service was excellent - I can recommend it to all!!!
Nazara has a beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is great and the garlic naan is some of the best we’ve ever had. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because there are no sweet curry options and/or nothing on the menu that isn’t spicy. Other than that, it’s phenomenal and we will be back!
Much superior buffet lunch compared to other local Indian buffets. Food wasn't gray, comes out and they mark down when the tray came out of the kitchen. It was a bit dark for a business lunch, but they turned up the lights a little for us. There is also a nice glass-enclosed meeting room. Great appetizer and naan tray plus about a dozen savory items choices. Also about half a dozen cold dessert choices, with rice pudding with cardamom being extra delicious. I already recommended a friend to go. Thanks, Nazara.
Our favorite place
Best Indian food in Raleigh!
Excellent, fresh food. Excellent recommendations. Great service! Great place for a special night out.
Wonderful service and super delicious food!! Highly recommend!!
Food was all very good, we actually ended up taking a good bit home. My husband wanted it hot and he said they got the spice level just right.
Best Indian restaurant in an area that has a ton of them.
Nazara's is by far the best Indian food in the Triangle. We were there for Sunday brunch with other couples. Sadly, we felt the food was not as good as usual. The naan, usually fluffy and light seemed dried out and thin. The choice of entrees was also a but lacking from their usual selections. In spite of our disappointment, we will continue going to Nazaras. I am sure this was just an anomaly or blip in their otherwise excellent cuisine.
I am never disappointed with the food here. They are great at accommodating my off the menu dish request (korma). It’s definitely a hidden gem. The decor is beautiful and it is always so clean which really matters to me. I would love to see it busier. Give it a try!
We've been here several times and always enjoy it. Our waiter was particularly personable on this visit and the food is always tasty and a bit unusual for Indian food. The waiter said they experiment a bit for restaurant week and may put well-received items on the main menu, so we told them what we really liked. The spicy margarita is good, love their lassis, and have really enjoyed everything I've had there, although on this visit the biryani was a bit too spicy for my taste. Still highly recommended !
Really good food. I've never had steak at an Indian restaurant before, but the sirloin was very good. It didn't even come with a steak knife because you could cut it with the butter knife. Very flavorful!
An amazing spot. Food and service were outstanding. Two of us were vegetarians and there were a ton of delicious options!!
Had been to this place regularly and before to the place the owner had worked at in Briar Creek.
Having moved out of the area, I come here only about once a year and it has always been a friendly
re-union with the owner and some of the staff.
Not so this time, the guy at the reception desk was ignoring us for some time and despite my request
to let the owner (Sami) know we are here, he didn't care to do so.
Food was as good as ever, but this time non of the personal touch was left and there was no commitment
to service, which set this place apart.
A very nice evening with friends. The restaurant was VERY accommodating for ALL tastes.
Excellent food and service. We love it here and will be back!
Great Indian food, good flavors, delicious naan bread, and good service. Some of the better Indian food we've had going out.
We've been to Nazara a bunch of times now and it still continues to impress!! Great cocktails, wine and beer options to start. We enjoyed the pineapple paneer, pakoras, and papadum with chutney sampler - each was excellent. Our group got the red snapper, chicken hara masala, paneer tika masala, and sizzling chicken kabobs. All were excellent. We could have done with a bit more spice, but forgot to ask, so that's our fault. The service was just right - not overwhelming and available when needed. Nazara is great for grandparents and kids and everyone in between...we will definitely be back!
Nazara consistently serves excellent Indian dishes.
Great food and drinks... perfect for first time eating Indian food!!! Will return again.
Nazara is not only our favorite Indian restaurant but one of our favorites for all of the Triangle. Love the food, the staff are friendly and the price is a bargain.
Food is amazing!!
