About
Tasty authentic food. We split apps and plates to ensure we captured all the flavors. Casual BYOB environment.
Always consistent with good food and service. Some specials on menu.
Great food. BYOB. Food was a bit slow but only once. We’ve been there 6+ times. Always great food!
Super casual with a vibrant take out business. BYOB and enjoy very authentic and well executed Mediterranean/Syrian cuisine. Best dolmades/stuffed grape leaves that we ever had.
Great authentic food. You'll enjoy the wait staff too
The food was delicious. The service was excellent, friendly environment. I learned more about the food and culture. Great value. I highly recommend this eating experience. Loved the music too!
Excellent food and service we enjoyed taking our friends
Very enjoyable dining experience, efficient service and delicious food. Mahi mahi was fabulous.
Great food as usual. Different from other middle eastern menus.
Really delicious dinner. Everything is home-made and served in generous portions. We had the small mezze platter, which was more than enough for 3 of us. Lamb shanks and lamb chops were both excellent. BYOB without corkage charge. Staff is very gracious. This was our second time and we will return.
The food was excellent.
We ate here just by fluke- the restaurant we planned to eat at in nearby Homestead wasn't taking walk-ins so we were scrambling to find a restaurant without a 1 hour wait. When we approached the door we were apprehensive because the place didn't look that fancy and it was almost empty but we decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did! The service was excellent, our servers told us the ingredients in some dishes we asked about and everything was delicious. We had the hummus and the falafels for an appetizer, and we had the Syrian lamb shank and the chicken kebab for dinner. The lamb was outstanding, tender with a variety of dried fruits in the sauce. We finished off the meal with a slice of Syrian cheesecake, which was unlike anything we have ever eaten but was delicious with the taste of rose water, orange blossom and pistachio. The only negative I can say is this place *looks* more like a lunch place- could use some lower lighting and perhaps white tablecloths for the evening service.
The food was very fresh and authentic. The hummus was perfect. We also had dolma, main dish tipur and to drink, hot mint tea. It was wondeful! Syrian food has so much taste and spices were not hot but, very balanced. The service was excellent. This is my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh.
The folks at Naya were very welcoming to our party of 16, which included 4 teenagers and 4 children. Adham and his colleague welcomed us warmly and were attentive to us throughout our visit. The food was all excellent. I highly recommend the dawood basha. I look forward to returning on our next visit to Pittsburgh.
Our server with his “Pro tip” advice on ordering and his pleasant demeanor made our family dining experience a wonderful evening. Oh, yeah, the food was really good too!
The food was absolutely fabulous as well as the service. Highly recommend
Went to this restaurant for a family meal while visiting Pittsburgh. The large Mezza platter was delicious and definitely big enough for 4 people to share. Sambousek pastries were also delicious. 3 of us got lamb shanks for entrees. The meat was a little tough, definitely tougher than I expected in a slow cooked lamb shank. I think next time I would try something different on the menu.
There are many Middle Eastern Restsurants in the neighborhood, but this one is the best. Our waiter was very attentive and all the food was delicious.
I've been looking for this good a Middle Eastern restaurant for a long time. My all-time favorite was Skewers in Washington, DC. I've finally found one in Pittsburgh I like almost as much, and that is Naya. Very enjoyable. Delicious food and nice service.
We had never been to Naya before this visit. We ordered delicious sandwiches and the mujadara. Each was incredibly good, and the price was very reasonable for the high quality food. We will definitely go back.
Officially my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Pittsburgh. I cannot wait to go back there. The food was amazing and authentic. Generous portions. The staff was very polite and friendly. I cannot wait to visit again!
Convenient to us. Inexpensive Veried Middle Easter menu
OK but not great. Will return
all the food was tasty, but the fries were not crisp enough
Cute restaurant. Great food! Definitely going back.
Great food and great service. We will definitely be back.
Always good and always consistent. Great food and professional service.
Got a bunch of starters, proteins and veggies and ate them family style. Persian lamb shank, meatballs and sleek (kale) was my favorite!
Everything was delicious at this family-run Syrian restaurant. We shared the mezze platter, which was very good. The dips tasted home-made. For the main dish, both lamb shank dishes are excellent, as are the kebabs. And you can byob.
This place is always excellent. Some of the best Middle Eastern food in Pittsburgh. Their baba ghanouj is incredible. BYOB is a nice bonus.
Food was very delicious when it finally got to the table
Server was polite however it was very slow service.
My family had a great time with wonderful food.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the place was completely packed! We really enjoyed our first time here and can't wait to return.
Wife and I had a very pleasant supper at Naya. We had never been before and went on a whim and on recommendation from a number of OpenTable reviews. Our waiter was gracious and witty, and the food was spicy and full of flavor. Our experience has guaranteed a revisit with friends and family
By far one of the best Middle Eastern food I have ever had. And I am from NYC.
Good was great, lamb was cooked really well
My husband and I will definitely return and more than likely bring others with us. We drive past the restaurant everyday and finally decided to give it a try. Good decision!!
Will definitely be back. Want to try all the great looking items on the menu. Too bad you can only try a few at a time. Great "find" in the neighborhood.
We wanted to order more food but the service was very slow. My friends didn't care for the fattoush salad, they said it had no taste. Everything else was wonderful. The grape leaves were the best I've ever tasted
Delicious food and very friendly service! We will definitely be coming back
Food awesome. Waiter was great. Thanks.
