We celebrated mom’s 83rd birthday. We had the perfect table by the window. Our reservation was during the early bird special so we got everything, coffee and dessert included, for the price if the entree. Lauren our server was fantastic. She had lots of help with additional servers who kept our water glasses full and the finished plates cleared. Dinner was, as usual, exceptional. From the lobster bisque to the Caesar salad, the macadamia encrusted bronzini to the broiled seafood platter, everything was outstanding. This is my mom’s favorite restaurant and has been for decades! And the Nautilus Cafe never disappoints!
Food and service is consistently great!.
A favorite for many years. Prices are beginning to destroy “value for the money “. A potato or vegetable should be part of the entre. $5.00+ for a baked potato is out of line! Charge $2 more and Include the item. Finally, the quality of the steaks have dropped a level. Used to look forward to Steak Night every few months. Now, it’s no longer an attraction for us. All in all you are slipping. Take a look at West End Cafe in Carle Place and compare Value and Quality. Do not take your success for granted! Please!
Always a great experience.
From start to finish, it's a most enjoyable time.
I look forward to each visit.

ALWAYS a terrific night out. Consistently excellent food and impeccable service. We always feel well taken care of at Nautilus!
Arrived early for your special of king crab & prime rib. I received 2 VERY THIN claws with very little crab in them. Since being so early I expected 2 pieces from the middle as advertised in your photo. Needless to say I was disappointed.
My son had the 2 lb lobster & my husband a fish platter. They were both satisfied.
Nautilus is one of my favorite restaurants and we visit as often as we can. Please try and serve what you advertise.
Ordered the Bronzino. Superb dish. Excellently prepared. Fish portion was noticeably smaller than usual. Disappointed and hope this was an exception. If it continues, I will rethink visiting Nautilus Cafe.
Service and food was good. Nice setting and atmosphere.
Fabulous prime rib special. Great, helpful waitress. Will definitely go back!
Max, our waiter was great. Food was very good. Very good overall.
We are frequent visitors during Restaurant Week. In fact, we went twice during the January- February period period, because Nautilus extended it by almost a week. Food is fantastic and the price is so affordable. And the restaurant is beautiful. Can't wait for our next visit.
Outstanding service from the minute you walk in. Everyone there was very attentive and was very interactive with the guests. Servers made you feel like they knew you from when you were born. Food was exceptional. Will definitely be returning!
The food was way better than I anticipated and we really enjoyed the ambiance and great service. We don’t live too close but we will definitely be back as it was worth the trip!
Debbie our waitress was the best. Great 1st time experience . Food was delicious
food is consistently good. service is always very good. value is very good
Customer service by the waitress was excellent . Very attentive to the customers.
Went to dinner with my decades long friends and their wives. Each one of us felt the same way. The food was cooked to perfection. The waiting staff was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Whenever they are back in the area it will be our restaurant of choice. Fortunately my wife and I live in the area and we will be frequent diners at the Nautilus Café. On an ending note, I am a bronzini lover and I can unquestionably say, it was the best bronzini I have ever had.
Tables are a little close but we were there early so it didn't matter. The food was delicious - a prime spot for seafood of all types
We have made two visits to the Nautilus Cafe during the past month. On both occasions we were impressed by both the quality of food and service. The Nautical Mile of Freeport is clearly in transition and the big named classics such as the Schooner are gone. The Nautilus Cafe is reminiscent of the golden age of Freeport’s Nautical Mile. Try it and you’ll love it.
Excellent food. Friendly service. Nice location, especially in summer.
Not many people in the place, service was good, food was slow to come out but was excellent tasting when it did. Had to ask server for something and she wasn't around when needed. Very over priced for this time of year.
Dishes prepared perfectly. Excellent quality seafood.
Wonderful service. Very willing to please . Friendly atmosphere. Good value in the pricing. Food is fresh.
Good food, wait staff works hard, very rude and incompetent hostess.
Great as always. Swordfish remain the best I have had anywhere. Keep up the good work.
This was our third New Years evening dinner in a row at The Nautilus, and I have been coming here for over 15 years now. This the most consistently excellent restaurant on the mile. Food and service, top shelf.
New years eve
A superlative dining experience every time!
Years ago, I started going regularly to the Nautilus Café and I've never for one moment regretted it.
Appetizers tomain course the food and service is outstanding. Skirt steak is amazing!
Fish dishes outstanding. I had the branzino and my husband had cod with lobster. So good.
Service was wonderful. Very comfortable, relaxed dinner.
We love the Nautilus. Not surprised. Food is always good and the people are sweet.
Terrific food, very good service. A little pricey but worth it.
The food was excellent with a good range of specials which suited the variety of tastes in our group. There are gluten free choices as well as. Dairy free sorbet in the dessert choices.
I had a a great time. The two pound lobster was amazing.
Service spotty. Asked for a glass of ice three times...never received it.
The hostess is personable and welcoming. We like that. The food was good. I asked for a cocktail made a particular way. The bartender nailed it. It was great. The service was good. It’s the off season so it was nice and quiet.
I cannot say enough good things about the Nautilus Café.
It's my favorite restaurant - hands down. No other place is even close.
From the moment I walk in until the moment I leave, it is a delightful experience.
My wife & I returned to the Nautilus Cafe for dinner. Since our last dining experience, the restaurant has redeemed itself. For appetizer I had their crab chowder which was very hearty & tasty. My wife had the salad which is always good. Regarding the main courses. I had the red snapper w/clams, shrimp, stued tomato. Fish was light "n" flaky and very tasty. My wife had their shrimp oreganata. She enjoyed the plump shrimps served. After just a few shrimps she was already full. For dessert my wife had the carrot cake which she said was really good. I had coffee which was served piping hot & satisfying. Overall we had a great dining experience at the Nautilus Cafe and will return.
