Natsumi Breaks New Ground with Innovative Modern Japanese Cuisine. Barbara Matsumura founder of Haru Restaurants, has teamed up again with Chef Haru Konagaya to create this strikingly original destination. Two separate experiences in two adjacent sites, an elegant restaurant and a trendy Tokyo-chic bar/lounge. Natsumi specializes in modern Japanese cuisine with a touch of Italian ingredients; offering an array of creative dishes such as, sashimi arugula salad, new style yellowtail carpaccio, and lobster green tea ravioli. The innovative menu relies on unique preparations with dynamic flavors. The wine list is international, with white, red, sparkling wines, and champagne by the glass and bottle. This was our 2nd visit to Natsumi. The food is good, freshly prepared & reasonably priced. The location is convenient to Times Sq, theater district, Radio City Music Hall and mid-town. We would return to Natsumi on a future visit to NYC. We would like to sample more of the menu.

Went to Natsumi before a show and had a wonderful experience. The service was very friendly and efficient; didn’t feel rushed but didn’t have to wait very long in between courses/for the check. We ordered appetizers and dessert and still spent less than $100 for 2 adults, a rare find in the city! The quality of the fish wasn’t as high as I would have liked (I didn’t think the tuna roll was very fresh, a bit fishy) but the crunchy spicy salmon roll was delicious. Definitely get the vegetable spring rolls. Would definitely come again!

Pre-Pandemic, this was my favorite sushi lunch place. Glad to say after three years, they re-opened up for lunch & it's still the same high quality, fresh & delicious sushi for reasonable prices. (Recommend Maki Combo Lunch (2 rolls, soup/salad) for only $17!) Thank you for keeping your standards high and delivering great food and service.

Pésima Nos dieron la mesa y no nos atendieron hasta 20 minutos después Tomaron la orden y sirvieron… faltaron alimentos ordenados y las bebidas se acabaron y nadie volvió a ir a la mesa para preguntar si necesitábamos algo más… y por último candados de esperar tuve que levantarme para ir a pedir la cuenta ya que prácticamente nos dejaron olvidados… al parecer por ser latinos no les agradamos ya que en las otras mesas estaban atendiendo muy bien Por último la comida no es la gran cosa súper básica… no vale lo que cuesta

Delicious food - we all had a great Miso soup, followed by various sushi dishes and a beef teriyaki. Everything was truly delicious, so we also had deserts - we tried the Litchi sorbet, green tee ice cream and a chocolate mousse cake. All three were simply amazing. We had a great time together as a family and could recommend this restaurant for a truly lovely family dinner.

Post theatre dinner for my husband's birthday. They told us the kitchen was closed when we arrived at 9:30 for our reservation. Said they had called to let us know orders had to be in by 9:15! We were at the theatre. Got that message, left after 8 pm, much later. Very annoyed with this place would never recommend them.
