Everyone enjoyed their dinner. It was before the theater and just right!
It took a bit of time for someone to notice us waiting, even though we made a reservation and there were very few people in the restaurant. Once seated, the waitresses were attentive. The food came a bit out of order, but all was excellent. 3/4 of the way into our meal, a party of 9 women were seated. Even before drinks were downed, the noise level became excruciating. They need to pay attention to the sound level... perhaps adding some baffling would help. This happens so often in open NY restaurants. Recommend for the food and maybe you should go early.
The food was delicious, the service very attentive. The noise level was extremely loud and put a damper on our visit.
Our favorite business lunch spot
A special occasion!
The food was positively outstanding as was the service.
The sushi was fresh and the rolls offered some creative ingredients like apples and basil. For NYC the prices were affordable!
Everything was great! Sushi was A+!
First, the service was awful. The two servers obviously never talked to each other. One would take away our appetizer plates. One would bring them back. They got our order wrong completely and tried to debate overcharging us.
As for the food, it was mid grade quality at best. Their signature sushi rolls were unpleasant tasting. Everything was overpriced
I won’t be returning.
Muy bueno, rica comida, ir con reserva por que siempre hay mucha gente.
Our latest meal at Natsumi did not reach the high levels of previous visits to this restaurant. the food was fair at best and the service was not any better. It was not crowded when we arrived at 5:30 PM so that was not the problem.
Service was way too rushed. Food was great but it felt like they could not wait until we left and it was not as if we were lingering.
The sushi was delicious. Between my husband and 2 sons, we had 9 different types of sushi rolls and they were all delicious. I also order a salad and it was quite large and tasty. Definitely did not leave hungry!!
Dined in before heading to the theatre which was very close. The food was excellent, so many unique and delicious flavors and the presentation was beautiful. We enjoyed the crab dumplings, tuna martini, oshinko (not on the menu), miso soup and the wolf roll. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was a great setting for this occasion. The infused cold saki was a great accompaniment to my meal.
Always a great business lunch spot because the service is quick and efficient and food is reliable. This time, though, the sushi was a bit too cold when I bit into it.
Nous étions là!
5:30 reservation. Out of the wine I ordered. Moved to Sake. Out of the Sake. Seriously? Sushi was fine...nothing exceptional. Convenient to the theater.
Wife’s 50th Birthday
Everything was delicious and well priced. A real find!
As good as Zuma, my favorite restaurant in Miami.
Enjoyed a nice meal before seeing a show. Overall an excellent dining experience.
Natsumi is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in New York City. The fish is fresh, the sushi rolls are delicious and unique. The steamed shrimp andScallop dumplings are one of my favorite appetizers.
So delicious and pleasant , want to come back, the sushi was very fresh!!
Our new favorite "goto" for Sushi in NYC theater district. Friendly wait staff and wonderful and friendly bartenders.
Went to celebrate daughter’s birthday. Indicated with note on OpenTable reservation and confirmed with hostess. Was told they would put a candle in her dessert. Never happened. Decent food. Apathetic service.
We had a post- theater matinee early dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient.
Very nice restaurant- food was excellent. Good selection of appetizers and sushi was very fresh.
Food was excellent.
Food was great.
Convenient location in middle of theater district. Seated immediately with reservation. Traditional sushi and Japanese dishes nicely presented and well prepared. Good service. Good house sake. Highly recommend.
Very enjoyable. Able to converse with friends. Food was very good and modestly priced. A great “go to” place.
So delicious!!! The tempura dessert was excellent... my new favorite dessert. Congratulations!!!
This is our favorite theater district sushi/sashimi restaurant!
Terrific service and excellent location. Sushi was fresh and very tasty.
Pricy for what it offers.
A very nice modern interior that is in the heart of the Theater District. The service is good and the food is fair but not exceptional. The sushi was very fresh.
The prices were fair and it was within walking distance of all the theaters.
My experience was amazing and beyond my expectations definitely a great place for a romantic date
Had an amazing time at Natsumi restaurant. Such a a great spot to have dinner at. Ordered Chef's creation matsu and was so satished. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Good drinks. Will definitely come back. They also have special offers if you have a ticket to the show. For free desert because were going to the Wicked that night. Definitely recommend.
Average good food, good location, nice staff, nice decor
We ate here before seeing Wicked. It took quite a while to get any service for our drinks though the waiter conintially walked by or stood bear our table. This was the same for the food. For such a small place I was shocked at the poor wait service. The food was good, the yellowtail jalapeno roll had pickled jalapeno, everywhere else I've had this roll it is fresh. This was a little odd to me. My other rolls were great, miss cod and aps we're great. They have real Japanese green tea which was wonderful!
