The most delicious and flavorful food ever. Sushi tasted exceptional and fresh. It was such a pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to go again. They accommodated us so quickly.
Menu was interesting and food tasty but there were only two dishes that were really Italian-Japanese fusion.
Overall the experience was excellent. The food was delicious and everything came to the table at the proper time and very quickly. We were seated 15 minutes before our reservation time which was nice. It was a very quiet dining experience where the noise level was not too
high so you could hold a conversation . There were some interesting items on the menu that raised an eyebrow but nothing worth not going back. This is definitely $$ for what it costs to dine here. Overall a definite place to go more than one time.
Food and service were great.
Great service and atmosphere!
The dishes were too small and pricy. I understood the restaurant around Times Square price it would be little bit expensive but the service were so poor.
We were ordered couple times for meals because of the dishes were so little, but the waitress and waiter were given us a unhappy faces when we wanted some more dishes that made us so upsets. They have to improve their service and the reasonable food portions for their customers in the future. This place for sure I will not recommended to my friends.
This is a good place. The atmosphere is really nice, and the portions of fish are good. Both the lounge side and the restaurant side are nice. If you sit in the lounge, you'll be low at the tables. If you sit in the restaurant, you'll have to leave in order to use the bathroom, and walk through a hotel into the lounge. The quality could be a little better for what they're charging you. Wine is pretty good too. Biggest complaint is not being seated when I showed for reservation because my partner wasn't there. It was 6 p.m. The place was empty. Just let me sit. I will start drinking, and you will make more money. This little trend needs to go away. Have been to Natsumi a few times, and will probably take a little break.
It’s a great neighborhood restaurant where we are regulars. The staff knows our names and what we want when we walk in.
Good food. Good service
We came into the city for a brief stay and a bartender from another place recommended we go here. The food was delicious and creative, good size portions as well.
Loved it! Service was great. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was also very nice!
Second time I bring my kids.. always excellent and super service.. highly recommended
Excellent food and service served with a holiday smile
You cant beat the location if you are attending a Broadway show. Costs are reasonable. It is a loud place though but so is New York.
Had a really good family Christmas meal at Natsumi. Service could be better though - no smiles, not a very friendly waiting staff. Service looka very hurried.
But the food ia really, really good and worth coming back for. I love my Chicken Teriyaki for mains, hubby had Steak Teriyaki and daughter had Chicken Katsu. Katsu was good but dont think the parmesan ia needed for this dish. All our desserts are to die for - we had New York Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse Cake and Matcha Ice Cream.
Was in NYC for the Holidays and got a recommendation from a friend who lives in the City. I made reservations for dinner following a show at Radio City Music Hall. What a great choice. We originally were seated near the door and the air was cool. Before we even asked about possibly moving the hostess already had a table by the window cleaned and ready for us to move with our drink order already set on the table. My Family loves sushi and we get pretty good sushi in Pittsburgh but this was at a different level. The miso soup was the best I ever had anywhere including Asia. Get the miso soup! The rolls and nigiri and sashimi were so fresh and creatively prepared...a great presentation and blend of flavors. Kudos to the chef! The cost of our meal for four was very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and dine at Natsumi when in NYC.
Sushi was seriously fishy! Not good
Great food. Saw Wicked. Very convenient to show.
Sushi was excellent.
Booked and received confirmation but when we got there no booking was on their system. The method for dealing with this was to leave us standing for 5 minutes before ushering us to the bar side of Natsumi, throwing three menus at us before disappearing again. As the place was full of drunks, our table ajoined one with the noisiest woman in NY and we had an underage person with us we left. Absolutely appalling service. Avoid at all costs .
We went for dinner before a show. The food was delicious and authentically Japanese, the sushi was fresh and there was a good selection, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Bravo!
We eat before a play. The service was fast and friendly.
Diner before a show. Overall the experience was very good . The service was outstanding and the location to the show we saw, wicked, was perfect.
Excellent sushi presented beautifully. Not "cheap" but very fairly priced for the quality and quantity. The space is a little tight, but still pleasant enough.
Envie de sushis à New-York en amoureux, endroit parfait pour commencer la soirée.
Underwhelmed by overpriced food. Ambiance uninspired. Noise level not an issue due to few diners. Will not return, and would not recommend
Fantastic food and great service! Will defnitely be going back with friends.
It was very small place and dining was very close. The food was good but not impressive. I have had more options and better rolls at other Japanese Restaurants.
Good drinks, good food but pricey. Waiter barely acknowledged us. Not very friendly
Really good food, quick if you want, or take your time, and close to a lot of Broadway fun
The sushi was very fresh and delicious! We had the chef's choice for two, which was a ton of food, but we also had appetizers. Will definitely be back and really happy with the quality of sushi for the price.
Good food and nice setting for the price. Limited good seating especially for groups larger than four.
Delicious and unique sushi rolls for a great price in the times square theater district of New York. Great for a pre show dinner.
Always on the lookout for great food in/near the theater district and this fits the bill!
We were pre-theater dining and the service was fast but friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and we would definitely go back.
Fabulous pre theatre place. Reservations not required, but are necessary. All members of party must be present in order to be seated. Natsumi roll delicious.
Once again, our experience at Natsumi was perfect. While it has been a few months since I was there, I came in with 7 people on thanksgiving eve. The service team led by Tony took great care of us, made excellent recommendations and ensured we had an excellent experience. The WOLF HALL roll is m new favorite, but frankly everything that comes out of the kitchen is delicious. This time we brought our friends - together we've had sushi in over eleven cities around the world. We agreed Natsumi tops them all.
The seating is a little cramped and there is no place to hang a coat which makes things a bit cramped in current weather conditions! However the evening was balanced out by good, fairly priced food and friendly service .
Amazing ! Good place in NEW York. Good good.
This was a good find in the Broadway area. We ate here before a play and they brought our dishes out fast for us. The food is comparable with much higher hyped Asian restaurants. Will likely go back.
Chicken was burnt, the host was very rude, completely unhelpful. Wasn’t seated for over 45 minutes after reservation, even thought restaurant was empty.
