We tried both the James Beard and lobster tasting menus with the premium wine pairing experience. The food quality and presentation were excellent. The service was impeccable and the scenery outside even better. It’s a wonderful place for anniversaries and dates.

Carefully thought out and expertly executes menu. 5-course lobster prize fix, while pricey, was yrulybextraordinary. Portions are very reasonable and balanced so we did not leave feeling stuffed. Nice little extras thrown in to enhance the overall experience. Wait staff knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely return and bring others to share the experience.

We had an amazing three hour anniversary dinner at Natalie’s. The service was impeccable, the food interesting and delicious, and the little extras in between courses were a treat. Our waiter Luke and the sommelier Greg were wonderful, as was the young woman who kept our water glasses filled. It is difficult to comment on the food specifically because it was all so good. A great place for a romantic special occasion.

Natalie’s is an exquisite, sophisticated dining experience, yet neither the atmosphere nor the staff is pretentious. The food, service, and atmosphere are all five star. They offer two prix fixe menus. One is based entirely on lobster. We chose the second menu, which was four courses with several choices for each course. My four courses were poached salmon, pasta with clams, cod wrapped in grape leaves, and cheeses for dessert. My husband chose a carrot terrine, pasta with clams, ribeye with short rib, and the cheese. All were presented beautifully. You can order wine by the bottle, or have a standard or premium wine pairing. We chose the premium wine pairing and found all the wines to be excellent. They pour differently for each person depending on what selection you’ve made for each course. The servers are knowledgeable and are happy to answer all your questions about the menu preparations. This is by no means an inexpensive dining experience, but it was worth it and it was wonderful.

My husband and I went here for my birthday. It was an amazing experience! Only one other couple was there. Pretty much private dining! Everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was fantastic. We drove from Portland just for the night and to have dinner here and we are so glad we did! Great birthday experience. Chef Chris heard it was my birthday and that we had made the drive to have dinner there so he autographed a copy of our menu and put it in a plastic sleeve for my birthday. What a great touch! Highly recommend!!!!

Our family enjoyed a fabulous Easter Sunday Brunch at Natalie’s.
The staff was exceptionally accommodating to my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter who was thrilled to be dressed up and going to a “fancy” restaurant.
Their service, food and ambiance are exceptional!

On Good Friday, we had the pleasure of sharing our meal with Natalie's staff.

And for the first time, we chose the Lobster Tasting Menu.

A word of caution: this menu is not for those who simply want to have their lobster boiled or steamed directly from the pound.

What we were entitled to was to witness in several successive stages the ennoblement of a high quality product by a chef and his brigade who literally peeled the lobster into several gourmet dishes that were a delight for all the senses.

Only happiness with these dishes and with a staff as attentive as they are competent and discreet.

Food was very good but we have had better meals there. I probably would not return during their winter menu and opt for a busier time to return in the later spring. We did the wine pairing option and found the pours were skimpy. For $75 worth of wine pairings, I should not be able to drive home! The wine was very good, but I will just ask for recommendations and have several glasses next time.

Perhaps it was just an off nite for Natalie’s or for us. Service was confusing as we never knew who was waiting on us for what ... the food was very disappointing except for the rib eye and cheese plate. The scallops were thin slivers of something drowned in grapefruit. We are used to dining at fine restaurants including ones with multiple small courses so that was not an issue. We just felt like we were guessing all the way through dinner ... maybe user error but not an experience we will repeat. Example - bread was brought to the table, then the butter, with choices for salt. Our guest was mortified to find out she had just made the choices for the table without consulting us. (We didn’t care, it was just an example of lack of communication). People rave about Natalie’s but it wasn’t the right fit for us.

What a delightful meal! Each course was amazing. We were especially impressed with the soup and the brussel sprouts. Also, who knew thickly-cut turkey would be so heavenly. In fact, there wasn't a single dish that didn't impress us. We'll be back for more holiday meals.

We are from out of State. We were visiting Camden for a getaway long weekend for our anniversary. Natalie’s was recommended by Trip Advisor for special occasions. The service was beyond excellent. The staff were very attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We opted to eat the set menu. Although the dishes were delicious and very well presented, we felt it was way over-priced for what we had.
I think you need to be a real foodie and have a lot of money to truly apprecite the experience. We had fun because it was so new to us and it was a special occasion.

While the service was great, the food left a lot to be desired. One should expect unusual food pairings from restaurants like these but in this case, the combinations of food hid their true flavours rather than reinforced them. The price was outrageous for a not so great meal.

We were visiting Camden on a trip to Maine with friends. I found Natalies on Open Table and it looked really nice. I was looking for an authentic experience in a locally owned restaurant. When we got there, we were seated in the dining room which was more of a formal atmosphere and told there was a price fix menu only. None of our party wanted to eat that much and we asked if there was any other option. The waitress said she understood and maybe we could get the "bar" menu in the dining room, but she would have to "talk to the manager". Now mind you, the restaurant was small and in a old historical property. Hard to tell where the dining room was and the bar room. So, she returned with the verdict of "good news" that we would have to get up and move into the next room to sit and order off the "bar menu". Not sure what good news that was. The service and the whole experience did not measure up to the level of restaurant they were trying to be. Like a "wanna be" Thomas Keller that fell short. There was one kid working there with long hair and from Camden who had a really nice way about him and a fantastic attitude. It was a beautiful atmosphere. I just wouldn't ever go back. They actually seemed really unorganized.

The only negatives about our experience is that there was a larger group near us and on occasion they got loud with some fouled mouth comments. In addition to that, reservations we’re running about 30 minutes late.

The food and service were exceptional.

I would have preferred an a la carte option with a menu that didn’t resemble a shopping list. While the food and ambiance were outstanding, the pretentious service, lack of choice, inability to understand the menu and stinginess with wine servings from opened bottles let the restaurant down. I have dined all over the world and write this to be helpful.
