The view was nice. The presentation of the food was eye candy. The food flavors were excellent and well matched. The service was terrific and we will definitely be going back!
Been back again for the summer tasting menu. Amazing meal with extraordinary wine pairings.
This was the ultimate vacation dining experience- we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the evening...we know you would too!
The setting is magnificent over looking Camden Harbor. The food was elegant but the wait staff could have been better with the exception of the clear away busing which was excellent
Came for my birthday dinner and everything was absolutely fantastic. An absolutely unforgettable culinary experience. Yes its pricey but you get what you pay for.
We created our own prix fixe selections with advice of our server. This turned a 3 course meal into 3 courses with intermezzo courses. These included a cold cod appetizer, smoked duck appetizer and a chilled fresh fruit sorbet. Each course was appropriately sized and elegantly presented. The wine selection was broad but a bit overpriced. Overall a wonderful meal, setting and service.
Great atmosphere, top quality elegance. Overall excellent.
We thought the lobster bisque tasted burnt and the manager told us it tasted exactly as it should. Strange way of ensuring guest satisfaction. Plus we still paid for something we didn’t eat, oh well. Most of the other courses were good, some better than others. Overall could use more salt and could probably get a meal just as good somewhere else for half the price.
Natalie’s exceeded our expectations! The exceptional food, embracing ambiance, and highly attentive staff contributed toward our amazing experience. What a gem!
5 course lobster dinner was a treat! Recommend ordering the wine pairing.
Service was good, but we told them that my husband was allergic to seafood and the first course (amours bous) was a seafood paste mix and they failed to tell us.
Great place, highly recommend. Definitely would return
This was our first visit to Natalie’s and we are already planning our next trip back. Everything was wonderful - delicious dinner, beverages made perfectly, outside dining, and impeccable service made for a memorable evening.
Delicious, upscale cuisine and perfect cocktails! The ambience was wonderful and service was amazing!
I didn't realize when we stumbled into Camden and made a quick reservation that we'd end up at a fine dining establishment like Natalie's but despite feeling like we stuck out a bit the service was excellent and the food was lovely with diverse flavors. I can't decide if the pork belly steam buns, seared scallops, or the chocolate cremeux was my favorite but everything was outstanding and the bill was certainly reasonable for that level of cuisine.
A truly sublime experience. Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Doesn't get any better than this.
Natalie's is hands down the best midcoast dining experience. The food, as always, is perfection. I was impressed with how seriously they are taking safety precautions. The careful attention to detail is what I've come to expect from Natalie's. There are no-touch menus, which are accessed by a QR code (bonus: saves waste). Servers each perform a specific duty, with only "white gloves" serving food or drinks. Other "black glove" servers clear tables to avoid any potential for cross-contamination. It is reassuring, and also surprisingly non-intrusive--it's easy to forget this is pandemic dining. The June a la carte menu is a great opportunity to sample some delicious dishes. I highly recommend the beets with marigold pisteau, the NY strip with gnocchi, and the mocha cremeaux with a 20 year port to finish. I have already booked another reservation for later this week!
This is a first rate restaurant and one of my favorite places to eat. The dishes are very creative and well thought out. The flavors and presentation are fabulous.
Very good wine list and excellent cocktails.
Don’t miss the opportunity to dine here.
We were celebrating our daughter's High School graduation with a special dinner at Natalie's. It was easily one of the best meals we've ever had! We chose to sit outside, and my daughter and I loved the warm shawls provided by the staff. The service and the food were outstanding! Our gratitude asked to come back to celebrate her birthday in July - we'll be back soon!
Overall outstanding and would go back.
Craft cocktails were great.
Wait staff was engaging and helpful.
Food very fresh, simple and delicious.
Would highly recommend to anyone.
We'll be so happy when things return to a bit more normal and Natalie's can start offering their 5 course and lobster tasting menus!
Natalie’s is exquisite. Wonderful staff and owners. Very good food and service. Nice, very upscale, ambience without being pretentious. We had dinner with a wine pairing for each of us and it was just great. Also, they did a good job of handling the covid restrictions as unobtrusively as possible.
We have many options in Camden area this is by far our favorite. First the food is always extraordinary and service is always on point. We also love that the restaurant is focused on local ingredients and has its own vegetable and herb gardens. The restaurant is comfortable and in the summer on the porch overlooking the harbor and hills is something we are looking forward to every winter.
Our menu was not overly lengthy but what we picked was excellent. Perhaps in the regular season, there would be more choices. The prices are high but the service, quality and presentation of food was excellent.
Very elegant and a complete dining experience... but expensive
Wonderful experience, the food was over the top, flavorful and artfully presented.I felt that the staff was attentive to our needs and really paid attention to detail. Absolutely the best meal in Maine.
Fantastic. Ambience and service were outstanding! Perfect & very relaxing dinner at Natalie’s!
Wonderful Valentine course menu
Excellent time! Carl was the best and Steve was interesting with the wine pairing! We drank way too much but a fun time overall. I would make a suggestion with the desert choice(there was none). I do so hate coffee or anything that tastes like coffee so the desert was disgusting to me. Carl brought a lemony gelato? He was very nice.
We were celebrating our anniversary so we enjoyed the bubbly! Thanks again... second time eating here, first was Christmas Day.
Would recommend! A bit too fancy for what we’re used to, but good for special occasions! I thought to surprise my partner by going to a high class restaurant, and it ended up being a lot more expensive than I intended, so keep this in mind when considering course meals here!! My budget was $300 including tip, and it was $311 for the bill...so be mindful! I left a 30% tip even so. (Left a dent in my wallet, but my fault for not double checking prices). Definitely leave a good tip as folks are incredibly kind and accommodating here.
Very busy evening, it being Valentine's Day. Much busier than usual with most of the guest arriving at about the same time which put a real crunch on the kitchen and wait staff. Normally, guests arrive spread over an hour or more giving the staff the time to pay close, friendly, attentive attention to the guests, so I'm not faulting Natalie's.
Creative and beautifully prepared dishes. Attentive service. A true culinarily destination and a top Relais and Chateaux dining experience!
This was a wonderful experience, starting from the moment that Sven welcomed us. We had the fixed price menu with the premium wine pairings, and it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The wait staff was outstanding. Craig’s (I think that was his name!) recommendations were spot on, and Steve’s wine suggestions provided the perfect complement. We ate and drank things we would usually not have chosen. The food was beyond delicious, and the presentation lovely. The service was attentive without being smothering. We truly loved every minute. Fine dining at its best.
A memorable meal from start to finish. We had the 4 course prix fixe menu which offered ample choice and included several amuse bouche additions and an intermezzo. Everything was perfectly seasoned and exquisitely presented. Romantic atmosphere and attentive service added to the experience. 5 star!!
We had an absolutely lovely time. The staff was excellent and everyone read the tables well. Noise level was perfect and very comfortable, cosy chairs. Decorations very nice and not too much. The food was fabulous. We will be making this an annual event!
Just a lovely experience all around.
The food and drinks were great, the waiter was a joy and a nice atmosphere
Thanksgiving evening, 7 PM sitting. Did not get seated until 8:30. Complimentary prosecco while waiting. Were told there would be a wait, but not told how long. Nothing to munch on. Ready for bed by the time we ate. Women next to me had to leave as it was just too late. Was charged for 2 prosceccos at the table. No other alcohol ordered. Bill almost 300 with tip. Prix fixe. The food was definitely excellent, but the experience was tough. Just wanted to go home to bed.
Dear Mincey, Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed the food. We apologize the delay you experienced which should not have happened the way it did. Because of issues with computer server due to a storm and a fire alarm later in service we got delayed and were unable to catch up. For that reason, we reached out to all our guests and offered a gift certificate. Please contact me in order to send your gift certificate by email or phone. email@example.com m or call 207 236 7008
We were there for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was GREAT! The staff wonderful! The atmosphere warm and pleasing. NOW AS FOR THEIR ABILITY TO MANAGE SUCH AN EVENT - I'm certain the high school children that applied childish strategies of party planning learned a lot and will some day go on to be good restaurateurs. We arrived 20 minutes early. They apologized for being a little behind, jokes were made, they offered us a glass of cheep campaign -- okay. 15 minutes after our appointed time they apologized again -- no worries you told me you were a little behind. 30 minutes later ... we tried to order something just to nibble on (say cheese and crackers -- servers were polite but then disappeared -- nothing ever came). I could go on but net: 1.5 hours after our reservation, we were finally seated. 30 minutes later someone finally took our order. My wife was about to pass out from hunger, I have a medical condition that made things worse, things got so late, we really could not make it thru our meal and took much of it home. I am certain this is great restaurant and I will give them another try. BUT SERIOUSLY if they are reading this, they need to get a project manager, or an event manager that ACTUALLY has a successful track record and not just juvenile ideas about how to manage such things. Summary: Staff, Food, Atmosphere ... ALL GREAT. Management team ... needs some schooling.
Dear Mr. Fielding, thank you for your review. We always strive to offer the best guest- and culinary experience to our guests. We are glad to learn that food, service and staff was great, We agree that a delay of an hour is not acceptable and we sincerely apologize! Our computer system was not working due to the heavy storm. Although we tried to catch up, we were unable to do so with a sold out restaurant. We have reached out to all our guests, apologized and offered them a gift certificate.
The restaurant totally overbooked for Thanksgiving seating. There was over an hour wait
for a confirmed reservation, and when seated, service was exceptionally slow and disorganized.
The restaurant interior is festive and beautiful as befitting the season, seating comfortable, but
waiting over two hours for dinner was unexceptable.
Dear Mr. Moore, thank you for your review. We always strive to offer the best possible guest- and culinary experience. We agree that a delay of an hour is not acceptable and we sincerely apologize! Unfortunately, our computer system was not working due to the heavy storm resulting in delays. Although we tried to catch up, we were unable to do so with a sold out restaurant. We have reached out to all our guests experiencing delays and offered them a gift certificate to use for a future dinner.
We had a terrific experience at Natalie’s. Great service delicious meal!
