We waited about 20 minutes before our server came to our table and let us know what the specials were, etc. The food was excellent and I would certainly go again for the food, not the service.
Been wanting to go to Naschmarkt ever since I started working in Campbell 5 years ago. Now I think of all the times I could have gone there if I’d tried it sooner! Best dinner I’ve had in years. Great ambience, staff, and amazing food. It’s on the expensive side for smallish portions, but pretty close to worth it. There’s counter seating facing the kitchen, which would make for a great first date as there’s always something to stir conversation. One quibble about service: the staff who was clearing was a little too anxious to clear - almost snatched my plate out from under me! He also reached across me. Small things in the larger picture and definitely did not damage the experience. Highly recommend!
This is one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area. Great variety and quality of food and service are over the top.
Delicious Austrian food! It can be busy, so make reservations early. Don't miss dessert--their soufflé (Nockerl) is fantastic!
Great evening with delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. We both had Schnitzel, which reminded us of home and my husband had a tough time choosing from the beer list... so many of his favorites!
Excellent service. Cozy room. Sophisticated, but relaxed atmosphere. Great food.
Everything was fantastic! We had both of the schnitzel dishes, the rouladen and the spatzle. I will be back for sure!
My favorite place never disappointing , wait staff always on point and just a great atmosphere
It was my very first time dining here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We both loved the ambience and more importantly their foods were amazing+outstanding service+so many good drinks selection!! We will definitely come back.
Have been here a few times and have not been disappointed. Excellent food and service.
I've been to Naschmarkt twice now, and both times have thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. My previous visit was several years ago, and I was pleased to see that cocktails are now being served. Mine was excellent, a Gin/Lime/Mint concoction that is on the short list of most enjoyable cocktails ever. My friends were very impressed and I'll definitely plan a return visit. The only problem -- and shame on me for not speaking up about it -- was our dessert order. The trio of sorbets was quite good but by the time it reached our table they had nearly melted.
exceptional service and great food. Make a reservation and go as soon as you can.
Had a delightful birthday dinner. The goat cheese purse was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good. A bit noisy.
Joe was an excellent server; attentive and friendly. I had the pork belly and my husband had the trio sausage special for entrees. For cocktails, we had the Smoke in the Rye which I highly recommend. For dessert we had the soufflé and they threw in a sorbet trio of coconut, pineapple and strawberry for my birthday! We sat in the outdoor seating which was quieter than eating inside the restaurant. Great place to sit and relax and watch the world go by ...
Good authentic central-Europe food with California touch.
Staff is always welcoming and courteous. Food is always delicious. And although we come back every time because of their amazing potato salad that takes me back to my grandmas house the rest of the food is just absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a try
Excellent staff and very knowledgeable. Great food! Restaurant is small and can be noisy but the food and service is good that you don't notice.
Naschmarkt is a true jewel in the Bay Area Restaurant. There are few true gourmet Austria restaurants anywhere in the US - Wallse in New York’s Greenwich Village comes to mind. The food and service are creative and reliably wonderful. And the owner is there nightly to ensure that everything runs like an Austrian clock.
As always the food and service was outstanding. A good wine list and authentic German/Austrian food with a flair.
Great to see the Naschmarkt family again. The new menu is FANTASTIC- just one of the many reasons we’re so glad to dine at Naschmarkt- the new menu is focused on spring and the flavors are perfect. The spring pea soup? Wow! The rye-crusted tuna is so creative. The ever changing pasta is again prompting the question, “how does he do that!?! I didn’t think the old pasta dish could get any better...” Really highly recommended and will return again and again.
Pricey and noisy, but also flat-out yummy. Authentic Austrian cuisine. Got to try the scallop appetizer…
Best restaurant in Campbell and unforgettable taste.
We love this restaurant for it’s excellent service and delicious dishes. Desserts are to die for, I had my birthday dinner with my girls friends. They’ve never been there before, we enjoyed our dinner very much.
Love the place. Good food, good prices, easy access. What more could you want?
The location, service and most of all the food was outstanding. We enjoyed dishes that were traditional, locally sourced, and delicious. We will return.
Based on its reputation, drove 100 mi. RT to try Naschtmarkt. Started with a shared sausage trio appetizer. Good, though not significantly better than home prepared sausage. Very pricey for this dish ($32 for 3 sausage). Cucumber and avocado soup was good, though the two main ingredients tend to cancel one another out. My son said his Kraut Rouladen was bland and left half uneaten (rare for him). We both had sides of seasonal veggies and split fingerling potatoes. The veggies were very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fingerling potatoes were somewhat disappointing, somewhat overcooked leaving only mild potato flavor. My jager schnitzel was excellent, tender with a very nice mushroom sauce. Son enjoyed his Jungle Fruit cocktail. I had a small glass of average Austrian table red recommended by the waiter. Waiter was excellent, as were the bussing staff. No desert from the limited list of options. $166 plus tip. A bit pricey for what we ordered, but it is Cambell CA so one must expect high pricing. NM not so high seen in that light. Overall, I would prefer to award a 3 star plus or 4 star minus, as the dishes were sufficiently variable in satisfaction quotient to produce some ambiguity with respect to rating. But I think with something other than the Rouladen (and skip fingerlings), the rating would likely be higher rather than lower so there you have the four star rating.
Alan is the best!!! ❤️
My husband and I had a lovely anniversary dinner. We sat at the chef's counter and enjoying watching them prepare our food! The staff was very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious.
Absolutely amazing. Food, atmosphere, everything. Also very much authentic, would highly recommend going here.
had a great time at Naschmakt. Sat at the bar and watched the kitchen in operation. The on tap beer was fantastic and an interesting assortment of austrian and german wines (along with domestic). The meal took us back to a great trip we had 2 years ago to Vienna and Munich/Bavaria.
Great anniversary dinner.
Phenomenal food and drinks, very knowledgeable staff and excellent service. The go to place for authentic, elevated Hapsburg Empire dishes, from a selection of schnitzels, goulash, double cooked pork belly... to lighter side of soups, salads and seafood. Be sure to try the blueberry soufflé at the end and ask the bartender for one of his latest creations. Nothing will disappoint you at Naschmarkt
This is our favorite restaurant and we eat here at least once a month. The food is always fresh and delightful! The menu changes with seasonal dishes. The staff provide great service and the bar tenders make excellent cocktails. The ambiance is cozy and sophisticated, and not too noisy, so you can hear each other in conversation. Everything on the menu that we have tried is fabulous, but we especially like the fish, weiner schnitzel, sausages, roasted game hen, and the butter lettuce gem salad. Yummy.
Friendly service, very consistent food, excellent flavors
Consistently flavorful dishes that are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat. Warm, gracious service. When Campbell and the Bay Area are full to overflowing with great places to enjoy a night out, there's a reason Naschmarkt is rated as highly as it is, for as long as it has been.
Simply put it, this restaurant is PERFECT. Best restaurant in South Bay, by far.
We celebrated my adult son's birthday with him and his wife. It was a delicious meal from the special pretzle appetizer to all the entrees we enjoyed. My son got this wonderful flavorful split pea soup too. The drinks were special concoctions too. My dish was the swordfish with citrus. It was almost too beautiful to eat with all the colors and flavors apparent. But I did eat it and found every bite wonderful! We just didn't have enough room left for desert.
