It was really busy for 8:00 on a Tuesday. We were seated right away as we had a reservation as my husband and I were celebrating our Silver Anniversary. It was almost a half hour afterwards that we received our cocktails. The Side Cars were delicious at least. My husband had the delicious bratwurst and sauerkraut; I was happy with the Goat Cheese Purse Salad. Dinner was the Jager Schnitzel for him and the halibut for me He enjoyed his immensely, but my halibut was too crispy and not very flavorful - I was somewhat content to have a healthy meal although a bit disappointed as it was one of the higher priced entrees. The server did
a great job with recommending a crisp Austrian wine. Dinner was topped off with the soufflé with blueberries and yogurt with complementary anniversary sorbets. We loved the lime and the coconut together. Overall very satisfactory but would have been better with faster service early on and better prepared halibut.

I have been to Naschmarkt about 6 times over the last several years. It has always been a special treat for me and my family to go. Wonderful service, excellent food and drinks, and potently flavorable desserts.

Excellent food. The schnitzel was the best I’ve had in the US. The arctic char which one of my guests had was noted to be phenomenal.

The food is delicious and wines very reasonable. Service starts out very good but after entrees are served, difficult to order dessert/coffee. Repeated requests for dessert menu and check. This was our second dinner and unfortunately the same service level.

You cannot find too many Austrian/German restaurants.in our area, so it was a fairly new experience for me. In all, the place was great. Really good food and pretty good service. Even something as simple as a pretzel was made into a gourmet dish.

We truly enjoyed our latest visit to Naschmarkt for dinner. It was a slow night due to graduations being over that week so we were able to get in since it's usually very busy on weekends. We have a lovely well priced Gruner Veltliner to begin. Their Spring menu has wonderful choices. I went with the Spring Pea soup. It was so very light and fresh! Then I had the vegetarian "spaghetti" for my main. I really loved the flavors - not like Italian spaghetti at all and with plenty of vegetables. My husband had the pork belly and which he also thoroughly enjoyed. This is not your heavy Austrian fare but creative and fresh!

A surprising find in Campbell! Traditional Austrian food with a modern flair and great eye towards ingredients. Nothing stodgy or overly heavy about these adaptations of goulash, spaetzle, schnitzel, and streudel. Options for fish eaters and vegetarians too. Lovely cocktails, great wine list.

The Wiener Schnitzel is perfect and the Salzburger Nockerl are just as delicious as in Salzburg itself.
Highly recommend

It was a good surprise that we found good Germanic/Austrian food in the Bay Area. Both of us had a wonderful experience dinning there. We will go back again for sure.

Happily surprised and very satisfied! My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday, we were drawn by the something new factor and he was happy to try out the Austrian beer and food(primarily meat), I was a little hesitant because I do not eat meat except for seafood really. We both had an incredibly good experience and left doing the happy dance, I found food that I was happy to eat and the quality of the food blew us away, simply amazing, fresh tasting and flavorful. Everything from the bread, soup to the desert was simply superb and our server was happy to offer recommendations for drinks and food in which he excelled! We will happily be coming back again soon!

We waited about 20 minutes before our server came to our table and let us know what the specials were, etc. The food was excellent and I would certainly go again for the food, not the service.

Been wanting to go to Naschmarkt ever since I started working in Campbell 5 years ago. Now I think of all the times I could have gone there if I’d tried it sooner! Best dinner I’ve had in years. Great ambience, staff, and amazing food. It’s on the expensive side for smallish portions, but pretty close to worth it. There’s counter seating facing the kitchen, which would make for a great first date as there’s always something to stir conversation. One quibble about service: the staff who was clearing was a little too anxious to clear - almost snatched my plate out from under me! He also reached across me. Small things in the larger picture and definitely did not damage the experience. Highly recommend!

I've been to Naschmarkt twice now, and both times have thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine. My previous visit was several years ago, and I was pleased to see that cocktails are now being served. Mine was excellent, a Gin/Lime/Mint concoction that is on the short list of most enjoyable cocktails ever. My friends were very impressed and I'll definitely plan a return visit. The only problem -- and shame on me for not speaking up about it -- was our dessert order. The trio of sorbets was quite good but by the time it reached our table they had nearly melted.
