My family and I, all adults, table for 6, enjoyed everything! The music is so nice. You are able to have conversations among one another. The staff is very kind. You are not rushed for anything, from placing your order, to eating your meal, to finishing your conversation. Service had a smile from beginning to end from all staff members. The offering of warm bread and olive oil with its great mixed ingredients was impressive. The food was so delicious! This is not only my say so on the delicious flavor but also of my 5 family members who thoroughly enjoyed their servings of food. The price is just right! We did not order dessert only because my brother baked my birthday cake. Napoli is truly here to adhere, serve and please its valued customers, every time! I highly recommend.
First time there and it was fantastic. Their rolls are unbelievable! Can't wait to go back and try the pizza.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Last minute. Food took a while to come out but I’m pretty sure it’s because we ordered appetizers. Waitress was polite and helpful. Overall great experience
Great food, nice place, great prices. The service was also perfect.
Friendly staff and the food was good.
Bruschetta was good-enjoyed the thicker bread. Lobster ravioli in lobster sauce was very good. Service was attentive.
20 minutes and I didn't have my drink.
I asked for a Moscato, server bought a house red.
Took another 10 minutes in an empty restraraunt
We paid and left.
Sropoed in as restaurant was close to hotel. We shared a veggie pizza with meatballs - excellent pizza. The best past was the service - very attentive and made us feel welcome.
Was looking for something close to the house on a rainy Saturday night. Was hopeful that this would be a new local find. The disappointment started pretty quick, service was lackluster. The salad had standing water in the bottom of the bowl and the pasta was overcooked and watery tasting. Not a good overall experience. I am not a snob when it comes to ambiance, but the overall experience was not one that would take me back again. I probably should have ordered the pizza, it did look very good.
Not knowing the area and needing to set a business lunch I used reviews from Open Table to choose the restaurant; I was not disappointed.
I had driven by Napoli so many times and when in a quandary to try something new, opted to give it a try. We had the Veal Parmigiana and Capellini Papa Zack, both of which were excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient and the prices were in line with the food quality. We were not aware that it was a "bring your own bottle" restaurant, but will definitely bring that along with us on our next visit. 🍴
This would be a great place to have a meal with friends. Nice and quiet, where you can have a conversation without having to yell over restaurant piped music.
Food was good and wait staff was timely. Booked for a bit of a business lunch and it worked out perfectly.
The complimentary bread was very fresh. The garlic dipping sauce was very good.
I had the veal parmesan and fettuccine alfredo. The veal was very tender. Both had the right amount of spices. I love garlic and it seemed to have just the right amount. I thought it was so good that I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day. I'm not a leftover kind of person normally.
The cannolli was very good too.
The only reason that I didn't give it five stars was because service was a little slow when the place wasn't even full. There was a large table that came in several minutes after us and received their order before we received ours. We were only two people.
We will certainly be back. I just wish we lived closer so I could go more often!
Awesome food. The bread is divine. Fantastic waiter, we declined dinner salads and he offered to bag our salads for lunch the following day. And the cannoli... Yum!
My Dad broke his hip and is staying in the rehabilitation hospital right down the road from Napoli. This was our first visit to Napoli and we were pleasantly surprised. My Dad is wheelchair-bound so I was concerned about a long wait for his Father's Day dinner. Thankfully, we were seated immediately for our reservation....service & food were wonderful. My Mom & Dad live in Pasadena and will definitely be returning to Napoli.
I've been driving by this place for so long and finally decided to meet a friend there for dinner. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptional! The service was awesome too and I got free dessert because it was my birthday!
It was good food. Bread was a little stale, we had a reservation for 6 and when we got there they didn't have a table for us and we had to wait about 45 mins. Service was good
I procrastinated for valentines day, and found a time at Napoli. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. Food was great, service was superb and the prices reasonable. Not normally in Pasadena, but if we are here again, we will definitely come back.
It was our first time here. Husband and I went here for a pre-anniversary dinner. The staff and manager accommodated us, even through the massive Christmas parties that were going on. We had an enjoyable dinner, and liquor/wine were great. The staff was very attentive. Definitely will go back once Christmas is over.
So many places love to blast music and seem to have absolutely no noise dampening. This creates a bar-like party atmosphere which is not conducive to good conversation with the people you are dining with. I have never had that problem here at Napoli's. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with good service and great food.
I had to modify my reservation to 30 minutes later, which was not a problem for this restaurant. When we arrived, my table for 8 was reserved and ready to go.
This is my go-to restaurant for local italian.
The bread and olive dip served prior to the meal is fantastic. My manicotti was very tasty but pretty average. Skip dessert, not worth the expense.
Not a bad place but nothing fancy. Friendly service and reasonable prices.
this is one of our favorite restaurants, we absolutely love this place
Other than having to wait 20 minutes for our "reserved" table we thought it was a nice place. Wouldn't consider it for another romantic dinner spot though. More of a neighborhood Italian eatery for friends and family. Bar area upstairs was an awkward space but pleasant enough to wait for a table. The blender at the bar was so loud everyone would stop talking while it was running, and it ran for a good while.
It was Valentine's night, we did have a reservation which enabled us to sit promptly. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. Our meal was fine; not the best Italian I've ever had.
But the kicker was when we had finished our meal, we were visiting/talking and the owner comes over and basically asks us to leave because there's a family who's waiting outside in the cold for a table. That's not our fault. He should have handled his approach a bit more diplomatic. My husband was peeved, to say the least. I guess because we had eaten and were not ordering dessert/coffee and had paid the bill that it was time to leave.
Bad business decision :(
Waiter was awesome and caring. He made sure we were taken care of in every way. As well kid friendly.
Food was freash as I have had. Salads were extremely good and the garlic bread is to die for.
Had a great time with my wife for our 9th year anniversary. Our waitress Polly was great.
Waitress was not good at all she would only come back very 3min. And someone else fixed are Togo plates and gave us our check.
This was my second time in a few weeks. The food is outstanding. They have a wide variety of courses to choose from. Personally, I recommend the "Manicotti Sampler with 'Pink' sauce".
Drinks were TERRIBLE! Ordered a Pina Colada (My FAVORITE drink) and drank maybe 4 sips... Waiter did not ask if he could fix or replace for me. Food was bland, this was supposed to be a date night for my husband and I. Now I know to go to Houston if I want great food. Do not waste your money here!!!
Yum, yum, yum!!! As an Italian American I don't typically eat Italian food out at restaurants, but the meal I had a Napoli was authentic and delicious! I have been to Houston twice, and have enjoyed two meals at this restaurant.
Excellent service. Amazing food. This place rocks and is super affordable.
This place should not be on Open Table.
Chicken Rollatini and Pizza were both excellent. Prompt and friendly service. We enjoyed a very nice easter lunch with the family here. Much better than almost any other restaurant in the Pasadena area!
This was our first time at Napoli and we found it via OpenTable. The reviews were great and it lived up to them. Our table was ready when we got there and the owner/mgr Eli even came through and spoke to each table. The food was great and at a great price. As we left he happened to be out front he asked us how we enjoyed the food and offered up some suggestions for next time. We will definitely be going back.
The web site pictures makes the restaurant appear more upscale than it really is. Not to say it's not a nice place, just more casual than anticipated. The food was fantastic and we will return.
Enjoyed Napolis for the 1st time...Food was great! All was good except for the service....Asked for dessert 3 times and asked for our check 4.Overall it was its a great place to unwind and have some drinks upstairs at the Lounge.
Very nice little restaurant. Great staff and fantastic food.
