Naples Rib Company
The restaurant is located just 1/4 mile from the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway & 2nd St, & there is valet parking.
We really enjoy coming here. Food and service are always fabulous! Love the fact they have valet parking which takes the stress out of finding parking on second street. We will be back again.
For a restaurant billing itself as a "rib company," their ribs were not very good - they were rather dry and lacking in flavor. In terms of service, our server took our drink orders and then disappeared for at least 10 minutes. The drinks were delivered by somebody from the bar. I do compliment the bartender, the drinks were well-made. When we did order the server put in everything at once, apparently, because before we could finish our soups/salads the main course was being delivered. This was a disappointing evening for way too much money.
Traveled from Hollywood and it was a trip well worth. Made reservations and had no problems. Wife and I shared a full slab which was plenty. Even got a birthday cake for wife. Server was excellent. Ribs were excellent too! I’m sure this is a really busy place in season and good luck parking. We had no problem but then we were there at 4:30 and watched the place fill up. Five star in my book. P.S. check specials, ours was 1/2 price bottle of wine!!!
I highly recommend this restaurant . The food was great and our server , Skye was so friendly and great ! Will definitely be back soon !
I was so pleased at Naples Rib Co. because they have a lot of Gluten free options. They had Gluten Free corn muffins and honey butter. The ribs were good, as were the sides, and you got a lot of food. I will definitely go back there the next time I am in Long Beach.
Although we have not been for a couple years, we were a bit disappointed. The service was good, but the food came out slowly and was barely warm. Also, the ribs did not seem to be as well cooked as in the past -- the meat used to easily come off the bone, but not this time. The ambience has not changed at all and the noise level was OK for hearing the person next to you, but difficult to hear the person across from you.
We went for a birthday. I called to increase the number in our party, but when we got there it was for the original amount of guests. Food service was terrible. We rarely saw our waitress and had to keep trying to flag her down. There was a decent selection of food even gluten free, unless you are vegan. Then you can have baked potato or artichoke( that has oil on it)
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Will come back again!
The deal offered during Dine Out Long Beach restaurant week was hard to resist. I'm glad I chose this restaurant to try. All 3 courses of my pre fixe meal were satisfactory and I appreciated the warm wet towel service towards the end of the meal especially!
The parking situation, on the otherhand, is not very ideal. There's a small lot and it costs $4 to park in that "valet" lot. Residential street parking is horrendous with cars filled on both sides leaving a very narrow pathway for a single line of car to move through slowly.
It was my birthday and I made previous reservations through this app and no on acknowledged my birthday. The service was terrible because the waitress was not very friendly or enthusiastic. She barely checked up on us until the end of our meal. Another waiter who checked on us slightly more towards the end. It took forever to get the check. The food was very dry from the chick to the tri-tip, to the ribs and baked potato. It was all very dry. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience and will not be going there again.
Was just amazing, the food presentation was impressive and most importantly utterly delicious
The drinks are great and the food is always good. Best onion loaf I have ever had by far!! Ribs were good, prime rib was excellent. Love the corn bread loafs and the vibe of the place. This is just a fun casual restaurant too bad so far from the house.
Nice atmosphere and people. Food was a bit cold we sent some back. Otherwise food was good too.
The portions of food are plenty. The menu is extensive with choices for everyone.the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I made two meals out of my dinner. I always make sure to go there hungry because I know they will have lots for me to eat. It is so convenient to our home. I am glad they are in the neighborhood.
the food is excellent !!
service is good
ambience is nothing to rave about
I come here for the hot links which are amazing. Always a good time and delicious food, either dining in our takeout. Valet is a bonus
There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this restaurant
The tri tip is beyond excellent. The rest of the food was great as expected and has always been.
I usually go with my GF on special occasions. On this occasion (Valentine's Day), it was a madhouse. The food was below par based on countless other times I have been there. The worst part was that I was charged $26.50 for a half rack of baby back ribs when the menu clearly read $24.99. First, the waitress said the 'wrong' thing by stating 'we haven't put out the new menu yet'. Instead of correcting the bill to match the menu, she came back and said the cost was based on my getting 'bacon bits and cheese' on my baked potato. Not a good policy, I don't care if it is a $1.50.
We went there with intentions on having a really good meal but unfortunately, this was one of the worsts. The service was really good which is a plus but it was the only good thing to bring back from this experience. The ribs were not tender and were quite the opposite. When I think of ribs I picture them smothered in rich BBQ sauce and tender; falling off the bone. These ribs were tough, chewy, and undercooked! The experience was an expensive one to have and if all of that wasn’t enough, the next day both of us were sick. Would not recommend!
Been going here for over 25 years. Same great food and service!
We’ll be back again 😋
We celebrate with 2 longtime friends the great food at the Rib Co. At Christmas we share a meal then walk around the canal. 2 Birthdays and a few special occasions. Great food look forward our next meal.
Good Restaraunt to take the kids. Not recommended for a date night. Food is ok. Service is excellent.
It was my Dads birthday and it is one of his favorite restaurants to go to but we haven’t been in years. I was actually a little surprised by the service. We waited almost 20/25 mins before our server came back to give us refills on our drinks. I know they were super busy but since we had made a reservation a week in advance busy or not I would have through we would have got much better service. I saw how other servers came back to their tables serval times to make sure everything was ok and if they needed anything. It wasn’t until the end of our service I mentioned it to our server that he finally came back with refills and to go boxes. Not sure I would choose to come to spend almost $250 on dining with service like that.
I made reservations I noted it was my Dads 82nd birthday. We were seated aaallllll the way in the back, I mean all the way against the wall around the corner. It was pretty clear to the girl that seated us my dad had a walker and Ibeven said, why are we goi g so far and my Dad is really struggling to walk back here, no response, she still set us alllll the way in the back around every corner in the corner. I would think by seeing a elderly man with a walker you would seat them closer to the entry way. But I guess that's just my common since. All the steaks were overcooked. Medium rare was medium well. The spinach dip was not good at all. The windgs were good and the bow tie pasta was delish!! But it was $8 extta for 5 shrimp??? I was looking for gold flakes on those shrimp.. the Ribs we not very good. I was really surprised by this.
If I go back I will get the pasta again but wont get ripped off by the $8 shrimp.
Oh and the drinks from the bar were really good.
Food and service was excellent, as usual.
We celebrated a birthday.
I’ve been enjoying Naples Rib Co on my birthday for a few years now and it’s always a favorite place for me & my family to enjoy. Plus the food is great.
The noise can sometimes be overwhelming. But other than that it's a great place.
Really enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere. A little surprised they didn't sing happy birthday but gave my husband an amazing chocolate mousse type dessert. Really good food and definitely large portions worth the money
We had a nice dinner with friends. Service was good and salad was delicious. Very consistent.
Excellent food for its specialty. My friends raved about the tri tip.
Great Food and service, as always!!!
We went for a birthday dinner, the food was great, we will go again.
Hostess was rude and unhelpful. We had a reservation for 4 on New Year’s Eve and she stated that we could not be seated because the patrons were still at our table and were taking longer than expected to leave. Is this how a restaurant reservation operates? Another group had arrived 20 mins or so after we had arrived and they were seated before us... in total we had waited about 45 mins despite having a reservation. The Manager came over when we were finally seated apologize that it was busy due to NYE and bought us a round of drinks (but we didn’t come there for the drinks). This experience was subpar in comparison to other visits which was the most disappointing factor.
We were sat at a table by the door. It was a very cold night so every time the door opened, we got cold. The food was great. One member in my party received his food and the order was incorrect. It was fixed. Other than that everything else was good.
Lovely, easy family place with amazingly perfect prime rib. Every time. Everyone is so friendly here. Love it.
Excellent service and food
