Great outdoor dining area for brunch with friends that's COVID-safe.
We really enjoyed our brunch!
Amazing time going out, services was amazing and very fast. Everyone was very friendly and very calm and clean inside.
Like most of Napa, parking can be a challenge especially since the Bistro has converted their street parking to outside service. Give yourself time. Small plates and salad were our choice for lunch and found it excellent.
Great food and perfect place relax and enjoy a great glass of wine!
This is a Bistro, so my ratings are for Bistro fare, not fine dining. That being said the food was all freshly prepared with quality ingredients with super friendly service at reasonable prices. We had a sidewall table, which was fine, but a bit in the way of traffic. I would highly recommend for a casual, quality meal.
There were too many fruit flies due to the open door and one landed in my wife’s wine. No offer for more/new glass and we had to ask for a new glasses. The halibut was a patty and horrible. However the scallops were awesome. We will not go there again.
Our server Gabi was helpful and attentive-super friendly. Even chased a customer who forgot her handbag and got it to her! The food was fresh and timing of drinks, appetizer, entree perfect. They have Soju for cocktails, not a full bar but good wine list and beers.
Service, food and atmosphere were all excellent!
Great Sunday brunch at NV Bistro!! Great food and great service.
Thank you, Clay and restaurant staff!
Napa Valley Bistro is a very special place. It’s a family owned and operated restaurant and it shows. The food quality is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable when compared to other restaurants in the area. I’d recommend the tuna and mushroom flat bread as appetizers.
Great outdoor dinning.
Great Service and food.
Music across the street was Awsome ! Food so yummy. Waitress needed to know the menu a little better. Always went back for advice but didn’t have advice first hand!
Very delicious food and excellent service.
I absolutely loved the menu. Great wine selection and everything we had was absolutely delicious. Excellent calamari not greasy crispy and fresh. Also great service thank you Maria
Always a great meal and time. Feels more like a locals spot than touristy Napa Valley restaurant.
Good food and great service. Definitely could improve the surroundings. Dining room dark and drab. Outdoor was better but could use some little lights and plants.
Vanessa makes the best margarita and lavender lemon drop you will ever have. She is friendly, fun and makes everyone feel like a VIP. All of the food we had was delicious!
Excellent service and delicious dishes with real quality. A bit pricey but the taste is excellent. Their ribs, lamb burger and fries are to die for
Best empanadas in town! And the Chinese chicken salad was fresh and crunchy. Loved the sliced ginger in it. This is first rate food and affordable!
Fantastic menu, wanted everything on it. Had the filet mignon, amazing! Nice wine selection and setting. Will definately be going back to try all the other great dishes.
I had the seared scallops and they were excellent! My wife liked her rigatoni.
Amazing! Great service, Vanessa made our entire experience such a happy one. We had our two littles with us, felt like we were dining with family. Thank you for a great dinner! We will be back soon!
Sunday Brunch is a must! Bottomless Mimosas option made with a spanish Cava are delicious and balanced in flavor. Lox Benedict with a lemon holindase is a favorite, and comes with a side of hash browns. Few beers on tap, some bottled options. Many wines by the glass, or bottle are an option too. Ask for the wine list. A nice casual white cloth american bistro. Yum!
My husband got the brioche French toast with the fresh berries on top and he stated it was the best breakfast he has had in a long time. His breakfast Bloody Mary was amazing with prawns and bacon strips as the garnish. ( I would highly recommend you getting the breakfast Bloody Mary!)
I felt totally safe eating here. We dined inside (too cold to eat outdoors). The tables were approximately 6 feet away and everyone not eating wore their masks.
Good food, great service. I will be back.
Food and service were fantastic. My wife had the filet and I had the scallops.
Food was amazing!
Everything was great from service to food selections and taste. The one issue we had was with the annoyances of extremely loud cars & Motorcycles ripping up and down the street, some cars had their personal playlists blasting what felt like Max volume. The decibel levels were so high it wouldn’t have mattered whether we were sitting inside or outside where we were that evening. This is no reflection on Napa Bistro just an unfortunate circumstance.
COVID protocol was in place so we felt safe. This was our first outing other than to doctor's or the grocery store. Food was presented beautifully & was delicious.
Hopefully-soon-to-be unemployed waiter told us "If it's a problem let me know" when he charged us for corkage even though the website clearly states there is no corkage on the first bottle. We've been here dozens of times and always being local wines. Attitude was completely unacceptable. Reached out to management separately and that will determine if we ever go back. Lots of options in Napa for great food.
My mom and I had a lovely dining experience at Napa Valley Bistro. The server and manager were attentive and responsive. The food was delicious. The patio set-up was charming. We both left feeling like we shared a memorable dining experience. It was such a nice experience that I returned two days later for lunch by myself. While the food was good, being seated was an experience and the service was deplorable. I didn't have a resevation and I didn't mind waiting for an outside table. While I was waiting, two ladies who also did not have a reservation, were seated before me at a similar sized table. I didn't say anything. Once I was seated, I was seated for two which was a bit off-putting as I thought it fairly obvious that it was just me as I had been waiting alone for 20+ minutes. I then seemed to be a surprise to my server who was buzzing the tables around me. He then stopped by like I was a surprise, as if he just noticed me. I ordered. Asked for lemon with my drink 2x, it never arrived. My food was delivered by the manager. I asked for a condiment. It never arrived. No one checked in on me as I ate to see how the food was or of I needed anything. Though I rarely dine alone, I do at times, and this was one of my worst dining alone experiences. I expressed my experience to the waiter and he genuinely apologized and said that it was not their best service that day. He took my drink off my bill which was appreciated. Given COVID circumstances and the impact on servers, I tipped on the entire bill and tipped 30%. I am not writing to get something else. I just want the employees to know that one diner had two vastly different experiences. NVB may want to investigate this a bit more. I am originally from Napa, and was visiting for 3 days with my mom. After our dinner, I was going to rave about NVB to a few of my Napa friends. After my lunch experience, I changed my mind to do so. Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience.
The management and waitstaff were all very helpful and accommodating. My food was plentiful. I had the chinese chicken salad with prawns and the Nieman Ranch St Louis style ribs. My husband had the clam chowder and the sea scallops. He complained that they’re were not enough of them so he shared some of my ribs. The only problem we had was that the service was slow. It took a long time to be waited on and what seemed like forever between courses
We shared a few appetizers and enjoyed them all! The calamari was definitely our favorite. These were filling and so we decided to skip entrees and ordered a hot fudge cake which was very rich and delicious! Staff was nice and attentive.
The food here was surprisingly good. I recommend the scallops, which were perfectly cooked, and came with arugula, bits of orange and avocado, and jalapeno. Service was attentive, and it was fun to eat outside.
Yummy drinks and great food! Waitress was really nice.
Crab Louie had so much crab. It was delicious and quite a value
Will be better when covid restrictions are over.
The meat and fish were over cooked and dry. The server didn't pay attention to the non-dairy ingredients while ordered so I had to wait for them to re-cook a new dish. We paid about $100 for two main dishes and don't feel worth it. Would not recommend this place.
