   Our server was very good and very attentive. She thought of extra touches that showed she cared. We had the filets and they were cooked perfectly, very tender and super flavorful. Over all, a very pleasant experience.

    We chose not to have steak -- which we do well ourselves -- in favor of their roast herbed chicken (superb) and seared Scottish salmon (also superb). We had wine by the glass, finding the wine menu over the top expensive by the bottle. My husband reported that the chilled cucumber with basil soup was also wonderful. But the fabled creme brulee was definitely a myth. The actual dish was too cold and too thick and a bit pasty. And the chocolate cake was a very large slice and good but not particularly memorable. While the service was, on the whole, superb and it was fun to be able to see a well oiled and smooth kitchen in action, our immediate neighbors were a little too immediate and were rather loudly trying to conduct business. We found ourselves eavesdropping by proximity rather than choice. This is a top end restaurant and priced accordingly. We knew what to expect, but it is still a shocking bill. We had an excellent amount on a gift certificate and were a little startled to discover that we could not include the tip but had to pay it separately. We did, but the result is that I have a remaining balance that is not enough even for an appetizer and glass of wine in the future but would almost have covered the tip amount -- which we had planned for. It would have been nice to know that in advance. We did tell our server before the meal that we had one.

    My wife and I enjoyed our "date night" with an enjoyable meal at Nanas and a show at DPAC. The reservations were seamless , the staff was attentive and the meal was very good. They made the experience perfect in that they were aware of the show but did not rush the dining experience. I will definitely come back.

    Danny did a great job taking care of us. We had several in our party got steaks and they were awesome. I wanted to get the Prime Rib Rare but that was not possible so I got the pork chop and it was great. Some of the group got deserts and they were spectacular. Everybody had a great time and shall return.

    For the most part, the food was good, but IMO the small filet mignon I ordered was way over-salted; not sure whether it was the meat itself, or the sauce put over it. I noticed there was no salt and pepper shakers on the table itself, so I am assuming the kitchen seasoned it before the plate came out. Other than that, it was a nice piece of meat. All sides are separate. We ordered the broccoli and cauliflower. The server said all the sides were "family size". I would not call the portion we got "family size". It was barely enough for two people. We ordered the callimari for an appetizer; the rings were very small. The two martinis with blue cheese olives were spot on. Also ordered strawberry shortcake on server's recommendation. Extremely good. Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and did his job well. I noticed a "baguette" of bread on the menu was $4.50. Another table ordered it, and it was really a "half" baguette. So, with this restaurant, there is good, and there is not so good.

    Dinner for 3 friends. Arrived earlier than reservation time. Table ready within 1 minute. Server Danny was outstanding. Two of us ordered the Prime Rib with side of Yukon Gold Potato Puree and Bibb Wedge Salad. The third ordered a strip with side of grilled vegetables. Also ordered table bread. Steaks cooked to perfection with excellent taste and texture. Love the horseradish with the Prime Rib. at 14 ounces, very filling. No room for dessert. Servings of the Yukon Gold Potato Puree seemed larger than last time. Just slightly disappointed not whipped to the creaminess of last visit. Tend to cool down fast. Spent about 2 hours. Great time. Prices very reasonable when considering the quality of food. There is a nice bar if want drinks. Lot of people were nicely dressed which adds to the ambience. One group walked it with shorts, dirty t-shirts and sneakers which did not add to the ambience.

    The food was good. My Prime Rib was excellent and both people that ordered the Filet Mignomn liked it very much. However the fourth person ordered the Meatloaf special and not only did the waiter forget to put the order in but he didn’t even realize it. We had to call him over and ask where it was. When he returned from the kitchen he apologized profusely and said it would be 5 minutes. That left the 3 of us uncomfortable to start our dinner until it arrived. I tasted it and it was not very good meatloaf. The service was just not what you would expect when you are paying what Nana Steak charges.

    This is probably my third dinner at Nanas and very disappointing. The serving staff is lovely and very responsive. But wait for our main meals was very, very long. We arrived at 5:00 to have time before the show at DPAC, we ordered quickly and a salad and a soup arrived shortly. No appetizers. Main meal arrived after 6. The salmon was 75% raw, cold in middle. All entrees were distressingly salty. In sum: overpriced, over seasoned and under-cooked!

    We went here for my moms birthday. Our reservation was for 8:30, but we arrived 45 mins before hand and asked to be seated earlier. The host was very friendly and was able to sit us about 20 min early . Our server Colleen was very hospitable and knowledgable on the food and wine. We waited a little bit longer than usual for food, but as expected on a Saturday night as it was busy. Food was excellent ! Chicken was cooked to perfection ! My mom enjoyed her steak and salad . Portions were big and worth the menu price . The only issue was the sides were hot, but the meats were luke warm . Flavor was 10/10 , very well seasoned . I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion or date night .

    We were visiting the area for a concert DPAC, and decided to try Nanasteak. Our table was upstairs, so the noise level and ambiance was much better than down in the bar or main dining area. The calamari for an appetizer was very good, and we shared a healthy Bibb wedge salad which was excellent. We both decided to have the NY strip which was very good, but with any restaurant that is ala crate, selecting sides is an issue for two people. We decided to go with the fingerling potatoes which were good, and too big of a portion for two. Would be nice to have smaller sides instead of shareable sides. Overall a great experience.
