The best Indian I’ve had in Arvada. I’m sensitive to spice and it’s not spicy. The wait staff was amazing and very helpful. And they deliver! I will definitely come back if I’m in Arvada and I want Indian food.
Very good flavors and presentation. Thoroughly enjiyed
Very creative and extensive Indian and Nepalese cuisine, both vegetarian and meat dishes.
Good flavors in this neighborhood find. The lamb curry is delicious!
The food is fabulous, and the portions are very generous. The vegan selections are very good. Tasty and varied. Highly recommended!
I was disappointed at the service considering there were few diners. I was hoping for a combination plate, but that is unavailable for dinner. The flavors were great so I think the lunch buffet would be just what I
We were greeted politely soon after entering the restaurant. My partner had a special diet request and they accommodated by making one of the curry dishes lactose free. Decent wine selection. The waiter checked on us regularly and we had an enjoyable meal. I will return!
Went to Y & Y the week before. Namaste's food was actually better.
A "hidden gem" that is worth the experience. The food was delicious and the staff very nice.
We enjoyed our dinner and the attentive service at Namaste India, and plan to return!
The food was tasty with all the comfort food of India that you would look for at an Indian Restaurant.
The naan was delicious with a delicate flavor. I had sweet potato korma and my friend had lamb curry. The rice was light and fluffy and out dishes were flavorful and rich. My only issue is the potion size. It seems rather small, like a lunch sized portion. Overall though, the food is excellent and the service was welcoming.
Ordered chutney or pickles and they said ok. Chutney or pickles did not show up, and it wasn’t until I had to ask that they told me they were out.
The food was delicious but the ambience of the place was a bit like a brightly lit lunch café. We were hoping for a little dimmer lighting in the evening and the candles on the tables were not lit. No real artwork anywhere in the place and the servers were not super attentive. I would say the main reason we went there was for the food but we did kind of go for the entire experience. If we were basing our review solely on the food it would get an excellent review. Based on the entire experience, it was good but not great.
Who would have thought that you can get great Indian food in Wheat Ridge or Arvada? We were a bit hesitant when we came in the early evening and the place was empty - but quite surprised by the authenticity of the food. The servings are generous, the seasonings spot-on and the naan particularly delicious!
We’ll be back for sure.
This place is incredible, we don’t live close to this location but go 30m out of our way to come here. It’s that good.
This was our first visit to Namaste India and we were not disappointed! The ingredients tasted very fresh and authentic. The servers seemed appreciative and were very hospitable. Aside from the food, our favorite thing was the entertaining Punjabi music videos that they had playing behind the bar. We really liked this place and will definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I like it super spicy and Namaste delivered just that. We got Very hot lamb vindaloo and Very hot madras. It was excellent; we were so surprised that it made us sniffle big time! The garlic nan and the yogurt too which was perfectly seasoned and creamy. We have found our new favorite Indian cuisine. Go there! The waiter had 7 tables and we didn't even notice because he was so attentive! We will be feeling the spice but it's so worth it.
Delicious food and spot on service!!
Terrific food; attentive service. Very pleasurable dining experience.
The thing that most stood out to me about Namaste was how they organize their menu. I find many Indian restaurants to list things in confusing ways. For example, a vindaloo might be listed in 3 different places on the menu depending on whether it's chicken, lamb, beef, or vegetarian. I like that Namaste just lists the main dishes, explains what it is, then gives pricing for each type of meat. It was very clear and easy to read and I wish more restaurants would do this.
The food was good; not fantastic, but good. Something seemed a little different about the flavor of my lamb bhuna; maybe it was my fault for ordering it mild instead of spicy so others could share with me. We also ordered a tandoori chicken and were pleasantly surprised by the amount and size of the chicken. That was filling. We ate half of our foods and took the rest home. We had also started with vegetable samosas which were very good.
Their hot chai was also delicious, I highly recommend that on a cold night.
The service is always excellent and the food is top-notch. There really is something for everyone here!!
I've been to Namaste 3 times now, each successive time the service seems worse. I'll give the restaurant one more try, since the food is so good, but they need to find someone friendly to be the waiter/host.
Food is very good. Been there 4-5 times.
Service is a bit slow but will continue supporting Namaste India.
Okay, I've been to Namaste now 3 times. Each time the food is really good, but this last visit I found no soap in the bathroom and the waiter was very unfriendly and stingy in terms of normal service to customers.
I'll try the restaurant again sometime, since the food is good, but if the service is that way again, there are plenty of other restaurants I know have good wait staff and would appreciate my business.
Wonderful! Do not miss this gem!
We enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner here with friends. Good value, everything very tasty. I had the lamb saag, and it was flavorful and not the least fatty. Host provided us with delicious complementary rice pudding at the end.
Very good Indian food. Have been there multiple times.
We were not happy with the other Indian restaurants in this particular vicinity so tried Namaste. The food was very good and their interpretations of our "spiciness" selections were spot on. However, the service was incredibly slow. One of our party had to leave after an hour and a half, without ever getting half of his order. We also never received 2 side items we had planned to share among us. The staff were cooperative when we asked that they be removed from the bill.
If you have plenty of time and are not starving, I am certain you will enjoy this restaurant.
I had not been to this restaurant before and was determined to find a unique dining experience for myself and my three sisters. It could not have worked out better. We dined very early on a Saturday evening as we had a performance to attend and had the place to ourselves. Due to our early arrival we had the good fortune of having the owner as our server. He went the extra mile in helping us explore our taste preferences for Indian food and made fantastic recommendations....something he says he enjoys doing but often can't when restaurant gets busy. Each of us selected different dishes that we all sampled. Everything was fantastic.....I can't wait to go back and explore further.
Unfortunately we were on a bit of a time crunch due to the upcoming performance and I unfairly rushed the staff in preparing our meal......however they willing met our timeline. We could have spent three hours enjoying all the taste creations. Next time we will. Did I tell you the owner bought us a bottle of wine since were celebrating belated birthdays for all three of my sisters? Could not possibly have had a better dining experience!!!!.
We chose this restaurant before a show at the Arvada Center because it is just 2 miles away and takes reservations. It was a good choice because of efficient service and excellent food. We probably didn't need the reservation because we were there early enough that it wasn't full yet, but it was nice to have the peace of mind. It's in a strip mall with plenty of parking.
The white tablecloth ambiance was better than you'd expect from its suburban strip mall location. Friendly service, too. The Saag and vindaloo were wonderful. Will definitely go back.
Do not miss this place! Even non-suburb dwellers should seek it out. Food is top notch, the real thing. Service is exceptional! Try the Indian wine - they are all tasty! The prices are really reasonable, especially for the high quality.
Ooooh - this is an easy stop on the way back to the city from a day of skiing/hiking in the High Country! Just a few blocks north of I70 on Wadsworth.
Oh so yum!
Without a doubt...the best Indian restaurant in the Denver area. And could be one of the best in the country. Each dish uniquely flavored. Worth the drive from wherever.
All was amazing! Best Indian Food outside of India! Try this neighborhood gem!
We were surprised and so pleased that they had the buffet on Sunday. All the food was so wonderful! They brought out a delicious frosted angel food cake for my mother's birthday. GO There ! Eat there! You won't be sorry!
It was Valentine's day and of course it was very very busy. We were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly, but there was very poor follow-up. Several other tables were seated after us yet their orders were taken before ours. We waited, and waited, and waited for service. My husband went twice to ask if we could get our drinks. The appetizer never came. At last a manager and our server came with many apologies and tended to our table which was nice, but it a poor first impression. We will try it again.
As an experienced traveler to India, I am well acquainted with authentic Indian cuisine, from North India to Tamil.
In my opinion, the food at Namaste India is authentic and delicious. You can specify your level of spiciness (heat) and you get what you asked. And the pricing and portions are good values.
We went on Valentine's Day for a 6:30 PM reservation. The table was ready on our arrival. Unfortunately, after we were seated, the water poured and the menus provided, staff left us alone for at least 15 minutes.
Once we were noticed again, the service was crisp and timely.
The biggest downside is that there is no beer on tap - and that is disappointing for a Colorado establishment.
Would I go back? Yes.
.....a good indian restaurant in colorado. and the only one who has goat curry! excellent tasting spices, not overdone, and we
did not feel filled in with filler but just really good indian food. a must if you are able.
