Great Mexican food with a twist. Service was OK. A lot of street noise. Fresh and fast.
While eating Queso Fundido, a piece of metal was discovered in our mouth. We let our waitress know, and she took the piece & did nothing with it. She told us several times that she still had the piece of metal & that she didn't forget about it. No attempt was made to take the Queso Fundido off the bill or even alert the manager. On our own, we let the manager know & all he did was thank us for letting him know. We enjoyed our overall experience, but were troubled with their lack of concern.
The atmosphere has all the South Beach flair you’d expect it to. Food is amazing! Will go back every time we come to Miami!!!
We went for a bachelorette party and we had amazing time. Great food and even better service!
Great drinks, good food, loved the ambiance, service was not very good and it looked the same for all the tables around us, but if you’re easy going about that it’s still a decent place.
This experience was mediocre at best. I don’t understand how they have 4 stars on here. The margaritas and guacamole were good not great. Queso was basic. Lobster tacos were dry. Corn tortillas fell apart. We paid $180+ for a meal that should have been no more than $100 for 2...honest. 👎🏻
This is a must go every single time we are in Miami Beach! It’s our first stop and we literally dream about this place when we aren’t here and talk about it! Get the shrimp taco and the cauliflower tacos!!!! You won’t be disappointed by either of them, I promise!
The margaritas were outrageously expensive and weak. The bartender also tacked on 18% tax to a $69 pitcher.
Eat the tacos they were amazing, get a drink somewhere else it was a complete ripoff.
Large group - great service and delicious food!
Holy mole was a creative shareable meal, perfect Miami dining vibes. Totally casual, fresh seafood and fun inventive riffs on Mexican cuisine
We are locals who have Taco Tequila Therapy on Tuesday’s or Thursday’s every week at Naked Taco. George is the BEST
Found this place while on our honeymoon on Groupon & then checked reviews. Turned out to be the best & most fun meal we had in Miami. Service was great, food was excellent, cool atmosphere...would def recommend & return if in Miami again!
One of the BEST dinning experience ever!
Our waiter was so attentive and vibrant.
I love the atmosphere and I’ll be back again
The food here was amazing. Service was poor like most Miami Beach restaurants which is typical because they include service charge (tip) so do not care at all
About customer Service. The topping on the cake was the manager running our credit cards, overcharging is, refusing to even apologize when it was brought to his attention. 100% think it was intentional. Also making me think it happens pretty often based on his nonchalant response. Please check your credit card charge before leaving. I’m yet to see a correction on my credit card statement.
Our waiter was great, forgot her name unfortunately. Food was alright. Drinks were great. No complaints
Raphael did a great job keeping our water glasses full and making sure that we were doing well. He and Michael were very friendly and kind. Our actual server was fine but quite busy as someone was shadowing him.
Food highlight: the octopus taco in a lettuce wrap. The octopus was tender and the flavors went together well. The Tuna taco was “so-so”. I didn’t care for the combination of flavors. Food disappointment: the Mexican beans and rice. They were way too salty. I told our server and he said he’d mention it to the cook.
My family and I loved this restaurant! Excellent service! The serving assistants made sure our water cups were always filled. They worked very hard providing outstanding service. We loved the music, tacos, and mojitos! This is a great restaurant to experience Miami life without having to get completely dressed up, break the bank, and to bring your teen and tween.
Efrain and his staff was wonderful even the almost snobby main waiter we had. You can tell he was very passionate about the menu and his job plus free shots. Only complaints were...
1. The $33 mixed combo fajitas upgrade to NY strip. Was not worth it. Steak was fatty and gross. Stick with the original $18 steak and chicken combo as is.
Churros were amazing! I say ‘special occasion’ only for the bill was $125 with Tio and tax for only 2 people. All I ordered was two tacos. (DELICIOUS unforgettable tacos) and the best part. That beyond mf perfect avocado gangster margarita.
Went back for lobster tacos and
2. Taco Tuesday which also suck bc out of their whole menu of 15 tacos ONLY 1 (that’s really pathetic and awful) was discounted for $3 (half off) in which they heavily advertise as “$3 taco Tuesday all day!”
Best tacos ever - and that's saying a lot for a Miami taco joint! The shrimp tacos melted in my mouth, and the spicy margaritas were fresh, not overly sweet, and strong but still delicious. Our servers were super forthcoming and friendly; they made our experience seamless and fun by ending our lunch with a shot of Fireball for each person at the table. The bar area inside is Insta worthy, by the way!
All three of us really enjoyed Naked Taco. The service was great, and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend Naked Taco!
The food was really good! A lot better than I expected. The staff was very friendly! Completely worth a visit if your in the Miami South Beach area!
Tacos were AMAZING!!! Service was quick and the ambiance was very miamiesque
Very good food, but pricey drinks for the size they give you.
Not your average Mexican restaurant! This is Mexican fare reinvented at an elevated and elegant level. The beatiful restaurant is decorated in a fun and sexy Día de Muertos style. Delicious coctails and extensive tequilla selection. Hell’s Kitchen chef Ralph Pagano created a unique dining experience suitable for girl’s/guy’s night out, dates, or special celebrations with an very goid price point! Indoor and outdoor dining options.
Extremely attentive and helpful service (server Lianne gave us perfect suggestions and indulged taking our picture many times-thanks Lianne!)
We enjoyed the “build your own” Mojito/Margarita where you choose your fruit (watermelon, pineapple, etc), sweetener (coconut sugar syrup, honey, etc) and booze (rum, tequilla, vodka)-very fun!
The Tomato Avocado Salad, as well as the Elote (corn on the cob grilled and topped with cheese and spices) were delicious as appetizers. The Lobster Tacos (two for $18) were packed full of Florida lobster, corn salsa, lime crema, & slaw. The Carnetas Tacos (two for $12) were abuntany filled with citrus marinated braised crispy pork, jicama slaw, orange, & chipotle aioli. Fyi-both were so well proportoned and easy to eat neatly that ladie’s should not worry about ordering them for fear of a messy meal!
I highly recommend you don’t missout on this great dining experience when in Miami!
Pleasant place interesting environment. Definitely recommend.
Really fun place with an excellent menu and great service from the waiter.
Good food, horrible service. The service was super slow and the waiter charged our credit card twice and we didn’t notice the double charge until the next day.
Great stop for tacos with friends for my birthday. The food was great as was the service, however, people kept walking in and out of the restaurant and going to the back. They would loiter back there and it seemed like some shady dealings... not sure what that was about. Otherwise everything was great. We appreciated the free shots for our first time there!
Do not allow you to pay for your own food, so if you are with a group make sure you have a designated person who can pay and then you can pay them back.
Visited Naked Taco during a trip to Miami, and came in around noon on a Saturday, soon after they opened. There were already several tables being served and we sat outside with nice weather. The ambiance was energetic with some music in the background and people who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Being vegetarian I ordered several items off the menu along with my carnivorous friend:
1. Guacamole bar - standard guacamole that was very good, came with two salsas with were also pretty tasty. The chips were nice and crispy, and though the guac was not spicy it had good flavor. 5/10.
2. General Tsao cauliflower taco (ordered "gordo" style) - cauliflower taco's are the new big thing in veggie taco land, but this was truly amazing. Sweet but slightly spicy with nicely cooked crispy florets complimented the spicy garlic and toasted nuts perfectly. I would definitely recommend at least trying one taco with gordo style (which is essentially a slab of melted cheese stuffed in the tortilla) as it was amazing and elevated the dish greatly, but stay away if you're in any way watching what you eat. 8/10.
3. Signature mexican pizza - this large pizza is topped with tons of gooey cheese and some pico which makes for a tasty item, though the beans were definitely lacking in quantity and quality. This was a missed opportunity to add something better to what is already a great dish, but I enjoyed it fully nonetheless. 6/10.
4. Other tacos - I cannot comment on these as I didn't taste, but my dining buddy did let me know he enjoyed the carne and chicken tacos.
All in all a memorable and delicious meal that left me completely full. I would absolutely come back here again, maybe even later in the day when the bar is populated. Great vegetarian options, nice outdoors area, and an extensive but flavorful menu made this one of the best casual tex-mex spots we visited in the area.
My wife liked the Cadillac Margaritas, and we both liked our entrees, including my vegetarian burrito.
4 out of 4 stars.
Food was awesome
Atmosphere was perfect for the occasion
Was seated quickly
Miguel our waiter was cool.
The ambiance was very chill. Food was good. It does get pricey pretty quick so make sure to search for groupon deals. The waitress was very nice, but she seemed like the only hardworking staff out of all the guys who clean up and another waitress who seemed to do nothing but talk to the hostess. I don't know if I would strongly recommend this place to a friend who'll visit miami.
We had a rough start, they sat us at the wrong table then asked us to move. We waited quite awhile to then get our drinks ordered. The food was ok nothing spectacular.
Great food and fast service.
Best tacos in Miami! Very good service!
Food was delicious, the guacamole was my favorite
Horrible service. Food was nothing like other reviews we read. The specialty, shrimp & lobster enchilada, was a skillet of cheese and white goop that destroyed everything in its path. Completely inedible, but managed to salvage 2 shrimp and 3 lumps of lobster out of the wreckage.
Street tacos were good, pitcher of sangria was good, rest was forgettable.
Got two appetizers - the crab dip was 99% nasty cream cheese goo and 1% crabmeat, and the fundido was solidified after 45 sec into a yellow cheese frisbee.
Chips were not fresh-made, oh and no salsa included. Salsa was a $10 extra. Yes...
Forget this tourist trap. Save $200 (for 4) and go to Taco Bueno, use the other $180 and buy a round of drinks at the Delano.
Food was so delicious, got the lobster, octopus, bbq brisket, and baja. Let me tell you, they do NOT skimp out on the lobster!! Both tacos has huge pieces of lobster in every bite. The BBQ brisket tasted so much better than I thought it would. Once my tongue touched the brisket, I just knew it would taste amazing. The baja was also very yummy, only disappointment was the octopus because I was really looking forward to that. We also got the elotes which were so good.
