Naked Taco Ratings and Reviews
Food, value and ambiance was excellent. Service was slow and did not have enough people working the floor. They could have easily sold us two more “rounds” of drinks if they had been staffed appropriately.
But to be clear - great place, great location, good value and excellent food.
This is one of my favorite restaurants and I always return for the tacos multiple times on each trip to Sobe! You can never go wrong when you start your meal with a complimentary shot from the bar! This time it was a tequila and pineapple, and gets the mood going!
I always get a few different tacos, but I can promise you that you will never go wrong with the General Tso’s Cauliflower taco or the Shrimp taco! I brought my mother and father last year and my mother still talks about the cauliflower taco and how she can’t wait to have them again!!! They’re amazing!!!
Decided to go to this restaurant because we were looking for tacos and saw the good reviews. The tacos were good. I ordered 3 tacos (shrimp, fish, and the other one I was too full to try). I did not care for the hibiscus margarita (it was very thick), the regular margarita was just fine.
The queso dip was very good. Unfortunately for us, we ordered it without chorizo because we don't eat pork, we had almost finished it when I realized in the middle of the dip was chorizo covered in sour cream :( When I told the waitress, she asked did we eat it and I'm looking at her like are you crazy, you can see that we ate most of it. Why would I be looking for chorizo in a dip when I ordered it without it....after a few minutes, she brought another one, this time we checked before digging in and no chorizo.
Went here for a casual dinner on our last night in Miami. Tacos were huge which was off putting because of how unauthentic that is and they had black lights outside that made all the food look brown and really unappealing aesthetically. Their “Cadillac” margarita pitcher, which cost $80, tasted like it was made by someone in high school. Would not go back. They did take the margaritas off the bill though, since no one drank them.
2nd time within 3 years at this place and it never disappoints. It's in the South Beach area of Miami so nothing is relatively cheap in this area. The service and food was very good, which is why I went back. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very much on point. Will be back.
I brought my parents to the Naked Taco for dinner last night and we were awed. Started with an order of the tuna nachos. I am not a fan of raw fish but these were the most phenomenal "nachos" I've ever had. For drinks we ordered a pitcher of the "some like it hot" margarita hot and let me tell you, it was hot. The margs were bearable but certainly had a kick. For the meals we got Shrimp tacos, cauliflower tacos, and a burrito. One taco was so filling that you only need 2 to be satisfied, depending how hungry you are. We then ordered dessert and both the flan and the churros were delicious, if you're not too hungry but looking for a sweet ending go with the flan. The churros sat a little heavy. What really topped off the evening was our server Jurissa. She was sweet, attentive, and gave great recommendations. We'd go back just for her!
Came here on a whim and soo glad we did. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had such a good time we came back the following day for lunch. The drinks were expensive and didn't really pack a punch, if you know what I mean. Overall I would absolutely recommend!!
Went here for a bachelorette as a more low key option for dinner. While I was not given an option to sit inside or outside when I made the reservation, on arrival we were told that our table was located outside, and that an inside option would take another 30 minutes. This was unacceptable as it was incredibly hot and humid outside and it was about to thunderstorm. I complained to the manager, who ultimately put together a table for us in a back room that wasn't being used. Once seated, our waitress was awesome and the food (we shared guac and salsa as an app, and everyone had tacos for dinner) was solid. Definitely good for a more low key option.
