Even though I was 45 min late for my reservation, they were still able to accommodate my group, outstanding service
I have had better hibachi. The restaurant itself was outdated, not very nice. The hibachi portion was lacking in the show. Food was just okay. Overall, would not recommend.
There was a bit of a wait although we made reservations but aside from that, things were good

The service is very subpar. It takes forever to get a request in so make sure you talk to the server every chance they come by. The filet mignon is the best filet I’ve had at any hibachi in the United States, do not get the regular steak I promise you. The drinks are bit over priced. Overall I would literally come back for that steak.
They crowd too many people around the table, the service is hurried and often times sloppy! Food over cooked, they really push the liquor, they were seriously overwhelmed-overbooked-understaffed the night we were there !!
This is the best hibachi in Atlanta, by far! I love the authentic vibe and seating where shoes as re required to be removed, it really makes the place that much more fun!

Excellent food, very authentic japanese food. Sushi was incredible! We took a japanese friend to eat here and she absolutely loved it. Highly recommended.
It was nice, but we were not seated until 40 minutes after our reservation. On such a busy night, they should have been more prepared.
Hibachi grill was great. The chef was very entertaining. Even though we had all seen the tricks before he added his own unique style. All of the food was delicious.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Despite my groups plan to go on a weeknight where the restaurant would not be as crowded I chose to make a reservation in advance so my party could be seated promptly when making our plans for the evening. While my group chose this particular location due to the quality of food I will not be going back due to the terrible quality of service. The chef and wait staff were good, but the entire visit became a bad experience because of the poor service from the hostess. We made reservations in advance, and all members of our party arrived several minutes early prior to our reservation, however despite our prompt arrival before our reservation time our seats had been given away to a walk in group rather than being, well reserved for those of us that scheduled a reservation. While this would not initially seem like a huge deal, we made reservations for the hibachi section of the restaurant meaning that because our seats were given away at the last section we had to wait not only for new seats to become available, but for the rest of the vacant seats around that cook station to be filled by either walk in groups or later appointment times. Our group that originally scheduled an appointment time of 7:30 PM didn't even get to place our orders until after 8:30 PM disrupting the rest of our plans for the evening. While I know mistakes happen, the hostess was rude to our party before, during and after the encounter rather than apologizing for giving away our seats. After we expressed our disappointment especially given that our entire party arrived well before the appointment time she begrudgingly offered to bring us some edamame (the cheapest app on the menu). I felt a little better customer service would have been a better solution than a budget appetizer, especially when only offered after the hostess overheard a conversation about us wanting to speak to management. Another option would have been simply not giving away our table.
The waitress was great. The cook, however, made many mistakes with orders. Even though the reservation stated I was celebrating my birthday, I received no acknowledgement from the staff.
This place has been here for a long time....and they have gotten complacent. I would reccommend NOT sitting at a hibachi table. Sushi was at best ...OK....may be time for a refresh guys- on food and attitude!
Our chef was amazing! I was hoping to get his name but I forgot. The service was fabulous.
It's just that the other room was quite bothering since there were about 20 kids with their moms yelling and singing at the top of their lungs Happy Birthday. I know that the restaurant is not to blame but I hope the rooms will be separated by (noise cancelling) walls. It felt like an educational trip or daycare party.
I enjoyed the experience, with the exception of so many children. I was expecting a quiet and grown up atmosphere but it was just the opposite. Overall, I enjoyed myself.

A bit loud but perfect for a celebration. Food was excellent quality and great value. They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions and limitations. Waiter was a bit of an “upseller” and overcharged us for our sake (maybe he thought after 2 bottles we wouldn’t notice?!?) but the maitre’d took care of the issue immediately.

We had a great family meal on a busy holiday. Even though it was busy, they seated us right away. The food was excellent, as was the service.

We were seated once our entire party arrived in the hibachi area. The room was very cold...they don't have central heat and air in this room. So I guess during the summer it is really warm. But since we went on a cool fall evening, it was very cool and my guests had to dine with jackets. The food was okay, the steak was over cooked, but good and fast service. The noise level in the room is a lot since they have 4 hibachi tables that seat 16 people each.

I made a note it was my boyfriends birthday and instead of just surprising him like they did everyone else, they came up to the table asking if we were celebrating a birthday!!!!
We dined at their hibachi grille. The food was excellent, the portions were large, and the chef was fun. However, the waitstaff was generally slow and impolite. Once there was food on my plate, I did not see another waiter until after I had finished my food.
First time going to this restaurant. Had a great time. Will definitely go back.
We dinned here for my sons birthday and arrived after an afternoon of traveling. Right away everyone felt welcome and the vibe was chill. Wide veriety of food to choose from and drinks as well. The chef was friendly and fun making the birthday meal extra. We will definitely come back when we are in ATL next!

Great portions, great food, and always great service as well. I have loved all of my visits to Nakato regardless of occasion. Hibachi rooms can get noisy if there are children.
Amazing service. It was a bit warm where we sat. The crowd was a little rowdy & we had to speak loudly to hear each other. But, great meal overall.

The service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it very special!
