Sushi was nothing special, actually kinda bad. Only one scoop of rice for a meal for 2. Wasked for extra rice & they charged 5$ for a scoop of rice. That’s incredibly petty! The service was sloooooowwww & bad. The ambiance was great, but it takes more than that to make a good dining experience. Needless to say we will not be going back.
Got seated for our 9PM reservation at 930. Was asked if we could wait by the bar which we thought was okay, but then there were no seats so we had to stand the entire time.
Used to be one of my favorites, but I've watched enough Kitchen Nightmares to know a restaurant death spiral when I see one.
Prices go up, portions and food quality go down. Servers aren't making any money, and it shows in both their attitude and their sneaky upcharges (like recommending an alternative to a $16 dish without a heads-up that it costs $60). The empty dining room makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere, and also leads to unreliable hours (showed up 1.5 hours before 'close' to find a locked door).
Thought it might have been a few bad nights or my imagination, but then read all the other reviews. For the cost of dinner at Naiyara, you could eat literally anywhere else in Miami. I suggest you do.
Chicken wings appeared to be days old
Sea bass was cold and inedible
Pad Thai was not good too sweet and sticky
White wine was warm
When we complained our waiter was stony faced for the rest of the meal. His manger did try to improve the experience by replacing one of the dishes. However she served a replacement fish dish and splashed us with the sauce when she had an issue with how the fish was placed on the plate. Overall worst dinner experience in a long time. I cannot understand how this place was so busy.
Some dishes were good but nothing was outstanding.
Just meh. Food and service were just ok. Very expensive for quality of experience.
Thai food was delicious!
Cold sushi appetizers were amazing. Crispy rice was superb!
Sushi rolls were just ok- overpriced for what they were.
Cocktail was great but took until we finished our appetizers to come and then another was ordered and came after dinner plates were completely cleared.
Noise level was extremely hi- difficult to speak across the table or hear our waiter.
As usual everything was incredible and Chef B hospitable. Never fails!
It was pretty good, I feel like I need to go again and try other dishe
We always forget about this place...excellent service and food. Sit outside if you want quieter.
Amazing dinner like always!
Still great! Always great here!
Great food as usual. Service this time was not so great- had to keep looking for our waiter to get drinks. Overall great place to have dinner
We had an early New Years dinner here. Food was good and nice staff of a little absent outside, they were charming
The table besides us was waay too loud. But the food came super fast
Not what it once was
Second time here one year apart. It seemed like a different restaurant than before. The server, although seasoned, did not seem to really care about much. There was no eye contact whatsoever when we finally ordered. He cared more about what was going on around him! Food was only average. Certainly nowhere near the quality or the taste sensations we experienced last year. Sorry will not be back. Too many other great Asian/Thai restaurants.
Incredible food and service. Chef B is the best, so hospitable. We loved everything we ordered.
The wagyu beef dumplings are unbelievably delicious. The masaman curry is the best I've ever had. Our wait person was very good. Can't wait to return.
Had Phad thai with shrimp. The most basic Thai dish, it was awful. $26 for that with 4 tiny shrimp. Not going back.
This place is exceptional I’ve been going for sometime food and service are always great!
Excellent. Very consistent
It was my son’s choice. We had a nice time.
Not what it used to be. Restaurant is going for a more party atmosphere. When ordering fried rice, server asked about what we would want with it (chicken, shrimp, lobster, etc). Lobster sounded good so went with that. $88 for lobster fried rice. Granted it was a large helping, but a $7 surcharge for chicken should not be lumped in with the option for lobster which ends up being $88. Very deceptive.
Left a bad feeling for our party despite the overall very good food.
Would not recommend to others because of this.
Amazing food and service
Half empty, waitress tried to steer us to most expensive items. Dumplings are like fried wontons, and very small filling. Tuna pizza is a small square piece with some sauce on top, not what I expected. Other items were just ok, not going back.
Went on a slow Monday night after thanksgiving. Server was brusque, rude and tried to up sell us to every expensive dish. When we didn’t take his suggestions he became rude. And he had the nerve to ASK us if he should add the tip to the check. Our last time at NaiYaRa after many years of dining there. Not worth it
Overrated, overpriced and subpar service
Great Thai food. Sticky ribs and curries my favorite.
Sushi roll with truffel was amazing, in the other hand papaya salad very average and massaman curry was way too sweet! like eating pure sugar sauce with meat! service was ok.
This place is amazing! The food is richly prepared with flavorful dishes, including five star presentation of the appetizers and entrees. The service here is excellent as its a reflection of the Chef and his staff. They make you feel important and very attentive to you needs. Boston crew will always come back!
Worst experience ever. Expensive and not good.
the waitress came to the table every 30 min, Her service was not good, she was not attentive and we wait too long for everything.
Wife asked for simple sashimi appetizer with salmon, tuna, and yellowtail and we were stuck with roughly $60 boat which we didn’t want with toro, and the most expensive options. We didn’t realize until we got the bill. Asked for 2 gin gimlets, they were basic gin and tonics and then charged us $18 each. Overall felt ripped off.
We went there looking forward to an amazing evening. The service was HORRIBLE and nonexistent to the point that the lovely hostess was trying to get us attention. We waited 37 minutes for cocktails. The table was filled with dirty dishes, the food arrived cold and slimy. One Person received their dinner 15 minutes before the rest of the table. There are many excellent restaurants in Miami save your money and time and go somewhere else! Major dissatisfaction and very disappointing.
Started w a simple salad that was awesome, drunken noodle dish w crispy duck, Kobe d
Food and service was very good. The only one thing I’d mention is that when I made the reservation I told them it was for a birthday and they totally forgot about it. They said they would put some congratulations in the dessert, it wasn’t like that.
Hot entrees never came out after 1.5 hrs of waiting.
Love it here food is great and reasonably priced! Must try
Waiter was not so warm
