The service and food were okay, not great.
The sangria was lackluster.
What ruined it for us was being seated on the 2nd floor where the noise level was extremely loud and the lights were too bright.
Would have enjoyed it more if we were seated on the main floor, which seemed to be more suitable for a date (dimmed lighting, reasonable noise level.)
Overall, will not be coming back.
Food was good but very expensive for the amount you get. If you want good Spanish tapas go to Newark NJ in the Iron district. NYC tapas restaurants are too high priced. Lots of great places in East Village that are way cheaper.
Delicious food, gracious service. We will definitely return!
Authentic tapas was on point. The portions were a bit small, but everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend the octopus, pork belly, and the cod. Everyone in our group enjoyed those dishes!
Did not have a chance to try the desserts since we brought our own birthday cake, but the creme brule looked good and we saw was brought to the table and then charred/torched right in front of you.
Definitely one of the better tapas experiences in NYC.
Great service and delicious food! Saw the show also and loved it! A great way to make the night more fun
Great food and service. Flamenco show was awesome. A bit pricey but understandable based on the vicinity. Would def go again
Overall, the food was good. Would not recommend the octopus, but everything else was delicious.
Simply superb cuisine. Absolutely must try the Tostada de Lubina and the Costilla Tempura!
Delicious croquettes, everything else was just fine.
The food was very good, and the service excellent. We had two waiters who alternated waiting on us. One was an owner, Raul, and he was truly exceptional and friendly. His demeanor certainly elevated the experience.
However, while I know it's tapas, considering the very high prices, the portions were generally quite small. A dish with 6 small shrimp was about $20, so was an excellent sea bass dish with only two pieces in it (2 to 3 bites each). The wine pours for $15 each were the smallest I've ever seen. My date had to order 4 refills, with all 5 together not even coming close to a bottle's worth, totaling $90. We joked with the (non-owner) waiter that maybe he would just charge us for the bottle (much less). He smiled but didn't take the hint. As the point of a date is to keep it pleasant, pressing it further would have marred the evening, so I just let it go.
After submitting my review, Raul the owner called me and said he wanted to make it right. He did. He explained some of the pricing, and I was able to express my feelings about some of the prices. Knowing that he valued my concerns made me feel better. I intend to return at some point to see if the experience is better. I'm confident that it will be. Thanks Raul.
Fabulously delicious food served by friendly staff. Many unusual dishes and a great wine list.
Prob one of the best tapas place in lower east side, but I recommend a rsvp. We had rsvp for 9pm and the amount of people trying to get a table when we walked in was crazy, but luckily we had a rsvp and got seated right away
We had the wonderful tasting menu with wine. I’ve never seen such beautifully presented tasty tapas. It was a creative mix of Spanish tradition and modern influences. Everything was delicious and the wine pairing was great. The staff were fantastic. Highly recommend.
We love coming here for dates. The food is excellent and staff are amazing. Every dish we’ve tried has been delicious - skirt steak, fish, garlic shrimp, spinach salad. Great coconut flan or creme brûlée for dessert.
I went with a reservation for a party of six, and we were seated at a comfortable circular table where we could all hear each other. The food was truly excellent, best I've had in New York so far. The service was also excellent, even when we regrettably had to cut our time with the tasting menu short. Can't wait to go back and bring a friend.
Delicious tapas, friendly service, nobody rushes you, kind of like I'm hoping my trip to Spain this month will be.
The people here were wonderful and the food and drinks were AMAZING! They so kindly answered all of our questions and accommodated portion requests. Seriously one of the best places for tapas in the city.
In all seriousness this is the best tapas I have had outside of Spain, even then it gives the best in Spain a run for its money. Fantastic place all around from the services to the food. We will be back for sure.
Had a wonderful dinner at Nai ordered the salad, shrimp, coquettes, paella, and 2 pitchers of sangria. All the food was outstanding, service was impeccable, and highly recommend going to see the flamenco dancers and musicians.
Amazing experience and meal.
Really accommodating and the croquettes are to die for
This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We tried the tasting menu with sangria and was delicious! Every dish was a surprise well selected, since they ask what your preferences are from the get go. The service was superb, Rosa, and the rest of the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and the regions the food came from. Working in the service industry as well, I'd say they were very well trained. Kudos to the manager for that! Everyone on the floor was watchful and kept an eye on the tables, great communication amongst themselves. We went on a Thursday night to enjoy the Flamenco show, and were also blown away by the passion and skill of both dancers and guitarist. Such a beautiful, fun experience. We were asked to dance and that was a lot of fun too! The restaurant has a rustic, unfinished, industrial and modern look, a bit surprising for such a warm environment! Overall a fantastic dining experience!!!
Took my mom here to celebrate her birthday and she enjoyed herself. This was my first time to the new location and I prefer the old one. The menu has changed tremendously and I wish they still has the calamari in ink and the seafood croquettes. We enjoyed our meal nonetheless.
Excellent! Amazingly great! Everything is comfortable here. The food here is fantastic.
Overpriced very small plates. The decor is industrial and cold and the food is tasty, but quite overpriced. Not worth the price.
Great lunch experience
Food was delicious, but quite expensive for tapas. Flamenco was a nice touch
Not really authentic tapas. I had the sardines and they were below average. The other dishes were fine as well but did not wow me.
Brunch here is delicious. Tacos are a must.
Good food + flamenco performance
Excellent flamenco show! And the service was fantastic.
Outstanding food and service! The shrimp in garlic sauce and skirt steak are my favorites. The spinach salad is also tasty and all of their sangrias are delicious. I keep going back.
The food is okay. But the dishes are too small, and also it is a little expensive.
Great food! Everything we ordered were great and the portion were typical tapas size that your party can share. We ended up getting about 7 dishes for 5 of us and all were delicious:) sangria was also good too! Definitely recommend!
Amazing food, great service, the sangria is soooo good, a little pricey but totally worth it and if you go to see the flamenco show, even better. I totally recommend, you will be amazed and fall in love with this place and their food.
Amazing food , excellent service and great ambiance! One of the best dining experiences in NYC! The only problem is that there are so menu items- so difficult to choose! All of them were so delicious! We kept saying "wow" after trying each one. To name a few, Tostada de Lubina (sea bass) divinas!!!! Pintxo de Chistorra -oh that quail egg! Rabo guisado (oxtail) so tasty! Can't wait to try more! Great sangrias! Multiple white sangria options. Shared 2 half pitchers to try two of the options. Great space for large groups. Can't wait to go back!
Enjoyed the food and the setting. The staff was ok, place was hot, and noisy!
We went on a Friday night with 5girls. While my friend and I were waiting for the other girls the guy sever gave us a sangria on the house. And the lady who was our server up stairs was super on point. She gave us many different wine for us to taste before we ordered a bottle. She was always checking up on us and made a great vibe. The unfortunate part was there was no AC going on so it was pretty hot inside. Even though we were right next to the open window. But overall the food was great and especially the servers made our day! Definitely will come back.
Went for the flamenco dance show on Saturday night. Great service and crowd too.
What a delightful dinner we had! The creative food is well-thought out and delicious, and the youthful and energetic staff could not be nicer.
Personally, I find the mismatched seating chairs and tableware charming although I know that that doesn't suit everyone.
One caveat: They don't have a full liquor license yet, so if cocktails are important to you, you might be taken aback. Someone has cleverly decided to mix drinks with what they are calling whiskey wine--substituting wine and other flavors for hard liquor. Meh. But the wine list has many interesting options so don't be deterred.
We'll be returning with friends!
