Friendly host and servers, delicious food, excellent entertainment.
Love the food, and amazing Flamenco dancers. One of my fav spots downtown
Lovely evening lovely service lovely food lovely flamenco show five star!!!
Amazing dinner and wonderful flamenco dancers! Had a great time
I am a loyal customer here. I like eating here because of the quality of their food and service. I always bring a family or friend to eat here and recommend this place to my friends. I just got disappointed on the way they manage their system in taking reservations. I had a hard time and confusion on my reservation date and time. It keeps on changing. Hopefully next time Nai Tapas improve on their system in making reservations, most specially when it's peak day/season.
Great food great service it was my girlfriends birthday and she was more than satisfied.
Great restaurant, would recommend. Good location. Great food & friendly staff. Surprised I had not heard of this place before.
What an amazing experience. I had never had tapas before so I wasn’t sure to expect but I was pleasantly surprised when we got round after round after round of delicious food. It was Valentine’s Day so they had a prefix menu -$150 per couple, 6 tapas and 1 dessert. House red/white wine, house red/white sangria or draft beer. Each course was better than the next & the service was wonderful. My faves were the brussel sprouts, to my surprise. Going to go back again this week to try their regular menu and will likely keep going back!
Our server was knowledgeable and wonderful to be around! We did the tasting menu and would absolutely go back!
Dining at Nai was quite an experience! The service was exceptional, the presentation was so unique, and the food was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to come back.
Amazing food, value for the money, and the flamenco was a great entertainment piece as well. Will definitely recommend and go back. If you go and like octopus , definitely recommend ordering!
We went for our dinner first time and LOVE it. Great service and very attentive in details. Lovely staffs!!! We decided to come back for a business meal in a private dining room. Everyone still talks about how amazing and flavorful each dish tasted! Gracias chef Ruben, Raoul and the team!! See you again soon!
Nai was amazing. We got the tasting menu and the chef and waiters explained in detailed about every course, it was spectacular. Highly recommended!
Amazing place! Flamenco dance included with food. Free tapas were given also. Great value:)
The food was delicious; the service was attentive; the ambiance was energetic and fun!
Delicious food and great service!
This is my second time reviewing Nai Tapas and I'm writing them another review because they are just that phenomenal. The first time that my wife and I went here, they had opened 6 months prior and we immediately knew that we had discovered a NYC hidden gem. Food, service, ambiance, and drinks were all absolutely phenomenal.
Because of this fantastic first experience, I thought it would be appropriate to bring my wife back here for her birthday and I could not be happier with that decision. We got about 5 tapas and they were all delicious. The staff is incredibly nice (shoutout to Alejandro for serving us on both occasions at Nai and for helping set up a small birthday surprise for my wife).
Both times, Nai Tapas has been a fantastic experience all around. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It's my favorite restaurant in NYC.
My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary last Saturday.
Food, service and flamenco show were outstanding!
Couldn't ask for more!
Would definitely recommend to our family and friends!
It is a very idiosyncratic restaurant with more ambition than ability. The best dishes were the more traditional preparations (the croquettes, for example, were great), but even the more experimental ones had good things (the salmorejo was excellent, as was the broth in the Ramen Gallego, though the noodles were a distraction). There are a lot of unnecessary and poorly executed flourishes (i.e., the table side assembly of the Alemejas a la Brasa was awkward and did not enhance the dish). The cod was the one dish that was a complete failure: the sauce was excessively sweet and masked the taste of the cod entirely.
Service was well-intentioned, but clumsy.
Yum!!! We had 6 small plates (3 each) which were enough to share & 2-5 bites each. Both the modern & standard tapas were tasty. Going back soon.
Wonderful place to hang with friends. Food was great and they were very accommodating. Loved it!
To start, the tapas are sensational. We loved the potatoes with tomato sauce, the sardines were the best we ever had (well prepared, good quality, large and each on a skewer), the tapas with chorizo were fabulous, as was the Sangria (many options, all looking delicious). The noodle paella wasn't as exciting but overall this was a wonderful dining experience and we will return. Prices are reasonable. Our waitress was delightful. Yes, it's noisy, but we've been married for 40 years so can go a few hours without talking.
Nai Tapas was a great tapas place with quick service and delicious food. The food was reasonably priced for the quality, but the octopus was a little fishy. Everything else was spectacular, including the red and white sangria. If you can make it on a Thursday or Saturday for the live show, totally worth it and enhances the experience.
This place was amazing! The food and wine were fantastic and my waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The flamenco show was authentic and my gf and I kept thinking we were in Spain somewhere instead of NYC. Highly recommend!
Nai Tapas is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in East Village. The owner Raúl is one of the nicest people I have met, and he loves his restaurant. The food is always beyond consistent, and more importantly delicious! The restaurant has a great vibe for any type of occasion. I have been coming here for years and it is always a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Perfect New Years Eve dinner with a group of girlfriends visiting New York. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you for the lovely time
We had the price fix menu for New Years and it was great. The potatoes and shrimp were very flavorful and the pitchers of sangria were great.
Incredible food and service! Best Tapas I’ve had all year- hands down. Thank you for making my New Year’s Eve memorable!
Amazing as always!
Went for tapas and flamenco. Tapas at 6:30 and show at 7:30. Made a reservation well over a month ago, and was told that “seating is based on when you reserved.” I didn’t like our table (it was in a very tight space where staff and customers would be knocking into the back of my chair all night) and asked to be moved to a table where I wouldn’t get knocked into all night. Ultimately, we were moved to a much better table, but we were made to wait while the staff went to get permission.
Food was great, show was awesome; sangria was meh at best.
I am a regular at Nai - the food is always great and I love the different sangrias. However, I was seated almost an hour past my reservation time. The hostess told me that at the table which would be ours, the people were still lingering. She mentioned they had already paid, they were just waiting for them to get up, but didn’t want to be rude to them and ask them for the table. However, I felt it was rude to have me stand in the foyer for 45 minutes as we waited for the table.
The food and the service were great but it was overpriced. Too expensive.
My first time at Nai Tapas. Four of us ordered the tasting menu with sangria. Each course was outstanding with a nice presentation and explanation of each dish. The tasting menu is to be enjoyed with friends and it's not an in and out quick meal, it's dining with time for conversation, sangria and stories between each course.
Portabello Carpaccio, sea bass and cauliflower were some of my favorites! Made so creatively and deliciously. Would also recommend skirt steak and short rib if you love the meats like me.
Great performers and food was also really good too.
Great food as always!
Very authentic food from Spain. Very friendly staff. Wine was overpriced. Otherwise great
Ordered octopus, pork belly, fried potatoes, gambas al ajillo. The worst pork dish that I’ve had for past 5 years or so. Shrimp was extremely overcooked and not enough garlic in the sauce. Overall the seasoning was off.
I’m guessing flamenco dancers attribute to their high ratings but I won’t be coming back for food. Also Red wine sangria was more of 32 dollar per pitcher grape juice.
We had a fantastic time. The food was amazing! Will definitely be going back.
Best anniversary gift we received! Thank you!
