I just love this restaurant. My favorite thing about Naha is that I get to try foods that I have never heard of and I am certain that it will be delicious.
They have a seasonal fresh menu that uses interesting and different ingredients. But everything that I have ever tried I have I loved.
I can’t wait to go again to try something new!

First the place was totally empty. It is a beutiful place, but soulless. The food was very avaerage. I had the beet salad, nothing special, and the risotto, very weird with big leaves in it. My daughter's food was better. She had the greek salad and the trout. The biggest dissapoinment was the emptiness of the place. I don't understand the Michelin star.

My boyfriend and I've been to multiple michelin star restaurants in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, and more, but this was by far the worst experience. We sat down and waited for a good 15 minutes until the waiter came up to us to ask, "Any questions?" Well yes, of course we have questions - the menu had 15+ items with not much description (which, yes is fine because a michelin star restaurant usually has the waiter explain everything anyway). After, we asked about the two type of scallops, and the waiter said "one is bigger than the other." That was it. So I proceeded to ask, "which one is your favorite?" He replied, "the sea scallops." When I asked why, he responded with four words, "I like bigger scallops." That was it. The rest of the night was continued with lack of interest in our table, and the food was not brought out by our server, nor was an explanation offered with any of the 4 dishes we ordered. The dishes themselves were average, if not mediocre, but the service is what upset us the most. This restaurant boasted in 8 years of receiving a michelin star, but I was thoroughly disappointed with the service and the food, and really hope it can improve so that it can live up to its michelin star pride.

8 course tasting allows you to experience a immense variety of what Naha does best. Every plate was perfectly prepared with thought, taste, and love. We visit often to see how the tasting menu is being adapted to the season. Servers are alway warm, welcoming and willing to go beyond expectation. Naha has become our favorite go to when spending the weekend in the city.

We hadn't been to Naha for a while but it proved once again to be an excellent choice for a dinner with some guests from out of town. Everyone was quite complimentary of the starters and the entrees. My wife felt the duck entree was one of the best duck preparations she ever had.

I was not impressed with the food or service. The appetizer scallops were decent but not outstanding as would be expected for such a small portion at such a high price. The main course pheasant was dry and overdone. Our waiter was rushed and impatient each time he came to the table and didn't once check on us between appetizers and bringing us the dessert menu (other servers brought the food and refilled the water).

I am glad we went to NaHa. However this is a total foodie experience. People looking for something other than foodie would be wise to skip this one and avoid paying the premium price that Na Ha commands. Our meal was okay but we had a hard time finding something on the menu. Not a good fit for us.

Had just ordered number of appetizers. First couple came out quick and we were told they'd space them out. Next dishes took 30 mins after the table was cleared. Valet took 40 mins -not kidding- to retrieve the car. Just killed the evening experience.

Our first visit to Naha was as good as others predicted. The foie gras is excellent. Service was very attentive but not obtrusive. Interesting local—brought back memories of Gordons.

Three of the four of us were very happy with our choices, but one appetizer, a pepper soup, did not please the fourth in our group. Quail and walleye entrees were excellent. The expresso/chocolate ice cream was disappointing.
Overall, it's a fine restaurant, but not as outstanding as we had hoped and expected.

Naha used to be one of our favorite restaurants. So disappointed this last visit. Food was average at best. We sent back the risotto no flavor. halibet just ok. But for $48 should have been fabulous and was only average. Not even all that hot either. Service has slipped to. Had to ask for water on more than one occasion. Saw the chef at the bar when we left so we know that hasn't changed but overall a big disappointment.

On our first night in Chicago, we dined at Naha on a rainy Friday night. We were seated next to the window, which gave us a full view of the Friday nightlife. It was quiet in Naha by contrast. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the food, which specialized in local produce in early autumn dishes: the burrata, prosciutto, tomato salad (the tomatoes were fabulous); the Greek salad (also with those fabulous tomatoes);, the pan roasted Atlantic redfish with shrimp and confit artichoke, peppers, wheatberries, spigareelo and grape sauce “Americaine”; duck breast with figs, Belgian endive, turnips and lentils; and for dessert the Naha sundae with corn ice cream, caramel and popcorn and the cookie assortment. From the interesting wine list, we selected the Anheisan Kabinett Reisling 2014. It was a very nice start to our trip.

The food was good but not delicious. Certainly there are much better restaurants in the city with more wallet friendly prices. (Lula, giant, Mindy’s). The ambiance was refined and romantic. Our server was friendly but seemed inexperienced. I wouldn’t got back.

The restaurant feels somewhat like it's in a hotel lobby; not an intimate space. The service was fine but not noteworthy. Appetizer descriptions were interesting and made good use of seasonal ingredients, but flavors were not outstanding. The exception were the scallops, which were delicious. Burrata was fine but not spectacular. The chicken main was very good, the quail OK. Overall we were neither impressed nor disappointed, but at this price level we had hoped to be wowed. There are so many dining spectacular options in Chicago, no need to repeat.

Fresh linen tablecloths were ironed when placed on the tables! Careful attention to detail. Fine service and friendly staff. When the host was assisting others, one of the servers greeted us so that there would be no unnecessary wait.
Oh, yes, and the food was wonderful. Creative combinations beautifully presented.

We've been to Naha many times before, always on a special occasion and have never been disappointed.
Evan was our waiter and was most attentive without being bothersome. I ordered the scallops as a starter which I highly recommend, juicy and very flavorful. My wife had the Greek salad which she said was very delicious. We ordered steaks ( I the sirloin steak "frites" and my wife the rib eye of beef ) both of which were done to perfection. For dessert we ordered the walnut baklava and the spring english trifle which should not be passed up! Even if you're full, order a dessert!
We love Naha because the menu is so creative and ever changing with the seasons and the service is exceptional.
