The food was not worth the cost. Especially the crab cakes. Also the food lacked seasoning.

A great experience from an awesome staff. I’ve had brunch at a lot of places in DC and hands down nage was one of the best experiences with a great menu!

As always, great food and service. Late lunch with a friend... very quiet... conversation easy. Server was very peppy, even after normal lunch hour... made sure we had everything for an enjoyable lunch.

While the menu and some of the food very delicious and creative we had a bad experience re “pepper”. Both the French onion soup and spinach salad with honey vinegrette were loaded with pepper; almost inedible. If you are going to deviate from traditional and listed ingredients on menu i. E. Excessive pepper that should be noted. The calamari, stuffed dates, mushroom baklava were delicious San pepper.

For a small place, the noise level - even at lunch - is deafening. Hard to have a conversation.

The restaurant is in the Marriott Courtyard Hotel and you have to enter through the hotel.

The menu has lots of great selections, including good appetizer choices. My colleague and I had the bacon wrapped dates and jalapeño hush puppies. Just enough for two to share.

For entrees, my friend had the crab cakes and had so much food, he could not finish. But he raved the next day about how good the meal was. I had the beef short ribs, which were awesome, and a side of Brussel sprouts which were just okay. I had the caramel apple ice cream which was tasty.

If you're looking for good food, it's a great restaurant so give it a try!

Hadn't been to Nage in a while. The food continues to be delicious--thoughtful and interesting taste pairings, good portions, good selection, quality and value. But the service was surprisingly substandard for what I've experienced in the past, and what you'd expect from a Marriott property. The server was nice, but lacked basic training, and a person behind the bar (a manager? hostess?) was watching videos on her phone with the volume on speaker so loud that it competed with the nice background music. It was my birthday, but we lost interest to stick around for dessert. Maybe it was just an off-day for them. I hope so, because it's an otherwise great spot.

Food was good. Nice servers. Be sure to check your reservation time against when the restaurant closes/kitchen closes, especially on the weekend. Open table let's you reserve right up until the kitchen closes.

Great food, great cocktails and great location, once I found it (I walked the wrong way!). My only complaint was checking out with a coupon--the only person to redeem it was apparently on break just as we tried closing out the bill. No worries though--I'll be back again soon.

We ordered the chicken and waffles. The Belgium waffles were excellent however we were highly disappointed and the chicken which was overcooked dry and very small in which they only offered thighs.. The service was excellent, the waitress was very kind, polite and we never had to look or ask for refills on our drinks.

I got a deal on Travelzoo that was $39 brunch for two people INCLUDING unlimited drinks! (Our bill would have been $66 before tip otherwise). Even if I hadn't done the Travelzoo deal, it still would have been awesome. Because I bought the voucher online, I hadn't seen the restaurant in person and was a little surprised/disappointed when I discovered it was in a Marriott! But the food was amazing (got the mac n' cheese with bacon bits and chorizo in it with an egg and truffle fries on top), they had three different flavors of mimosas, and doing the bottomless brunch they let you switch between bloody mary's and the different flavors of mimosas (but I stuck with the delicious pineapple mimosa). The wait staff was friendly and made our experience enjoyable. Pretty quiet during prime brunch hours, but probably just because people don't know how amazing it is! Would definitely recommend, and may go back and order the exact same thing.

Service is great. It has a nice ambiance, especially for a restaurant that is in a hotel lobby. The food was creative and good. We started with the deviled eggs and pimento cheese. My sister got the mac and cheese with lobster and thought it was really good (and they tailored it to omit the peas for her - big plus for her!). I got the mushroom baklava. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms but would easily order this dish again.

It took me a while to realize I did NOT have to drive to Delaware to have dinner at Nage! Duh! they're in DC now! Thankfully, the food and quality of service remain excellent. The staff was friendly, waiter was knowledgeable of the wines by the glass, split and full bottle, he was attentive and a "fun chat." The food was fresh, presented well and simply tasty. The vegan dessert of Pana Cotta (made with a coconut milk) was sublime – it brought back sweet memories of my such dessert in Sienna years ago.
