Nada - Indianapolis
My first time dining at Nada and I was impressed. The menu was limited - maybe due to COVID - but still the selection was good and the food delish. Drinks were also tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for great Mexican.
Staff is clearly overloaded.
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to! The food and service were outstanding. We absolutely loved the cornbread; and the small, street style tacos are packed full of flavor. I've found my new go to spot in Indy!
Savanna was excellent! Food, service, and ambience were all incredible usual. Best queso in town!
This is by far my favorite place in the state to eat, maybe even the country! This food is unmatched and their service is excellent
Absolutely wonderful! Looking forward to returning.
Understanding that reservations are helpful for restaurants, I'm not sure why their workers who answer the phone/greet you at the door, who are your first impressions of an establishment would be snippy in tone asking "do you have a reservation" then ignoring my questions to repeatedly ask, "what is the name"
Then under the reservation listing it's a birthday to have no one mention it was a disappointment.
We had been looking forward to visiting this restaurant for awhile. The hosts were professional if a bit aloof, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. The cocktails we ordered were generally good, although the white sangria was a trifle flat. Other than the guacamole and chips, though, we were rather disappointed by the food. The Mexico City ceviche was overwhelmed by the lime juice, which was the only notable flavor. The tacos are smaller than one would expect, even if advertised as small plates, and quite bland. The drunken beans dish was served with bacon but also undistinguished. Everything needed salt badly.
The ambience is fun -- sort of a blend of rustic and mid-century modern, with repurposed wooden doors, circular booths and warm colors. But if you want better Mexican food, I'd recommend Festiva or La Mulita (or, if you want it a bit more updated/upscale, Delicia).
Great food, excellent service
My wife and I had a wonderful time at dinner last night! Our server, Ray (the ticket said "Rahel" but I thought it was a typo), was so accommodating! She was very friendly, knowledgeable of everything, and made great suggestions about the menu. It was my wife's birthday and the whole place went above and beyond. The manager saw to it that we had a free dessert that was phenomenal. Try the varied salsas, the chicken suiza, charred Brussel sprouts, Chile-mango pineapple margita, and everything else that unfortunately we were not able to try on one visit. You will not be disappointed!
I struggled to get clarity on what I could eat with a food allergy. The waitress tried, but in the end, what the kitchen told her wasn't matching up with what I was served, so I didn't eat it. Three times staff attempted to remove the guacamole we were still eating, and in the end, the 3rd person took it anyways. We waited really long to get a 2nd drink that came when the food was all done, and we still had to pay for it—overall disappointing experience.
The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. My only recommendation would be to serve the margaritas in a nicer glass.
Nada was so delicious. They have incredible drinks and our server was helpful with providing information on how much food we should order. Everything was delicious and there's nothing I wouldn't order again.
Excellent food. The brussels and beet salad were amazing. The shrimp ceviche was good and not at all like a typical ceviche. The tres leches cake was like the best ever strawberry shortcake. It was so good. Great service as always and love the atmosphere. Such a fun place to go after work and it was hopping for a Tuesday night.
Loved it. Awesome food and such a unique experience.
Celebrated a friends Bachelorette party in Indy and our whole group was impressed with everything that we ordered!!! From the Margaritas flavored with jalapeños to the amazing chips, and mouth watering tacos, you will NOT be disappointed!!
Great date night with great friends!!
This was only our second visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Six of us were tucked away in a private area and our server was well-informed, friendly, timely and and took care of us perfectly. The food is presented beautifully and the flavors were a fresh celebration of the gift of taste. We shall return.
The restaurant went out of its way to make my Finance's birthday magical. I flew in from San Francisco for her surprise birthday and the event exceeded expectations.
very nice decor in this place. great location in downtown Indianapolis within walking distance of multiple hotels and parking
elevated Mexican comfort food- tacos, chili relleno, street corn, etc
do not miss the loaded queso as an appetizer
My husband and I were not impressed. In fact, manager took off both orders of our tacos from the Bill. We had Carne Asada and Pastor. Both were pretty much flavorless. The pork tasted like it was burned. We paid $14.50 for one cup of salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was nothing to write home about. In fact, I had asked the server if it contained tomatoes. She said yes, and then there were no tomatoes. We probably would not have ordered it. Our server was nice, and she was attentive. We had no problem with the service other than her knowing that the guacamole had no tomatoes in it. I do think it is important that servers know about the food dishes. I would not recommend this place.
Absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The atmosphere, the food, the service. Incredible. Will definitely come back!
Nada was not what it used to be-very disappointed overall. Very few people for a Friday night, server not very attentive, major changes of menu(very poor/small plates but very few selections). The queso was terrible-tasted like cool potato soup with cilantro on top. We left after a few drinks and chips and salsa. The prices are expensive for the small plate-tapas.
We are so disappointed overall as this was always one of our favorite restaurants. I spoke with the manager, who stated the company has redone all of the Nadas. We were not impressed at all for the amount of money and lack of quality of food.
Our server took such great care of us, and the food was fabulous.
Getting 5 salsa mix with queso pairs great with tacos. Drinks are great too.
Carly our waitress was amazing and the food was fabulous!!!
We plan to return. Excellent food,
Both my hubby and I loved everything.
Loved the food, light but great taste. The 5 different salsa options were great to try. Chips are not typical but light and tasty. The tacos were great...oh and get the street corn, super great. We also did the sprouts and loved them. Service was really good even with limited servers.
Loved this place and everything about it ! Carly was the beat waitress ! Will be back SOON !
Hadn’t been in awhile and suggested to friend in from out of town we go there…and he loved it too! Guacamole appetizer is my favorite in the city…street corn amazing! And fish tacos were great, just wish could’ve mixed & matched tacos. Will go back sooner than later!
My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at Nada and we had such an amazing experience! The staff made sure our night was perfect we couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect ambiance, food was delicious, exceptional service!
Went on a date night, the food and service was perfect.
They have changed the menu and removed items I was hoping to enjoy. It was incredibly loud and difficult to hear basic conversation due to the noise from other guests. Our server disappeared and never returned and we were served by no less than 3 other employees. We were asked if we wanted a refill on chips which came almost 30 minutes later after we had already paid our bill. Service was poor at best. Food is over-priced for what you get. I will not return. Go to Bakersfield!
We have always enjoyed Nada, but this was perhaps our best experience to date. We were celebrating a big occasion, and they delivered! Service was excellent. Seating was perfect for our party. Food was stellar. And, they surprised us with dessert. Thanks, Nada, for being part of the celebration.
Everything was perfect! Service was above and beyond our expectations! The salsa flight is a must try as well as the Paloma. This was our first downtown restaurant night since the pandemic and we couldn’t have been more pleased!
Took my wife here on our anniversary last night. Staff was very impressive. Even though their menu has gotten smaller, the food was still excellent. Will continue to go here!!
Outstanding food and service. Will definitely be back!
Service was good. Not as we remember pre COVID. New menu was not impressive. Disappointed with both drinks and food. Bright spot was the guacamole.
The food and service were excellent. We were forced into an early reservation time through OpenTable, but when we arrived there was only one other table occupied. When we left 90 minutes later, there was still only one other table occupied. We would appreciate the available open tables being managed better, so as not to be forced into a 5:15 or 8:30 reservation.
Nada - Indianapolis is rated 4.6 stars by 2075 OpenTable diners.
Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable. Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment.
