Really good music and delicious food. The service was great.

We had dined at Nacional 27 many years ago and it was the best dining experience ever.
This time was no exception. We choose the special 3-course dinner and everything was amazing. The food was fresh and the favors of each item were wonderful. This was a special evening that we were celebrating and going to the theater after. My only regret that the food was so plentiful, I didn't have room for dessert!

The service was horrible and rude. I would not return.

Creative menu. Food was outstanding. Service very good. Only complaint would be it was very loud (music over the speakers) and made for challenging conversation.

The food it really good, but I think it's slightly over priced. Must get the plantain croquetas! Also the steak as amazing and their version of moscow mule is also a must try!

I went with a few friends for restaurant week and salsa night. The food was great and our waitress was very kind. The dancing was a full hour class and lots of fun! I would go again on a Havana night, it appeared to be a better deal than the restaurant week!

We visited on a Friday and the first day of Chicago Resturant Week and surprisingly it wasn’t crowded. Everything was great, except our server. The bbq lamb taco was for die for.

We have never been to this restaurant before and were pleasantly surprised by the
excellent service, and delicious food. We had the $39 price fixed menu that had a
wonderful selection of appetizers and main courses. I'd definitely recommend this
restaurant to a friend and will plan on going back myself. Good value for the money.

Outstanding overall!!! Great food, service and ambiance from start to finish!!! My expectations where high but I have to say, the food and customer service were way above my expectations. Thank you very much and I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to business partners, family, friends and anyone who asks what I recommend in Chicago.

We chose Nacional27 to celebrate a Birthday. We worked with the restaurant's special events directors, all of whom were wonderful and accommodating. Our group of 9 reserved a table at 9pm for dinner, which included a group menu that was fabulous, (shrimp and scallops and veggies on large skewers, salmon with salsa verde, chips and guac, veggies, spicy potatoes, shrimp adobo with coconut rice, etc.), and we were able to keep the table for the dancing portion of the evening. Some of our group couldn't join until later, and the staff was able to add them to a guest list and allow them to skip the line. Thank you to Nacional27 for a wonderful evening. The only thing that would have made it better (a suggestion) is if they offered a dessert on the house, since they knew it was a birthday celebration. Those are the kinds of things that make moments magical and memorable. So, if you're celebrating something special, you'll likely have to mention or ask.

The food was just mediocre. Also, we sent back one of the dishes because it was completely dry. It would've been nice if the waitress said anything or had asked how our meal was.

I had been here a couple years ago and the food was phenomenal. This recent visit makes me very unlikely to return.

Food was very good especially items on the starter and tapas lists. Loved the mini lamb tacos. The signature drink made with thyme was delicious and fun (see photo). Our server was excellent. The negative was that we were initially seated on the second tier surrounding the dance floor. We asked to move to a booth on the main level because the chairs are hard and uncomfortable and the carpeting in the area is worn, dirty and needs replacing. The tile on the main floor is dirty, as well. It had awful grout and even an old flattened wad of gum. I can’t imagine how the dining area would look with the lights up. Shame on Lettuce Entertain You for not keeping up the facility!
